manual transmission swap
step 5
test acceleration
step 6
compare results.
We will get past step 2 in this episode.
I'm installing a larger diff in my Suzuki Every van for the higher gear ratio and bigger brakes.
This will make the every van faster and stop better.
The axel is from a da32w Landy
You can find the front brake install video here:

Entertaining as usual David. Looking forward to more of the van tinkering.
You're a comic working on cars mate.
Keep up the great work!
I really appreciate that comment... Thank you sir.
Noonan.... You know any Noonans from the Goldcoast Australia?
Glad you got this one mate, you are one funny guy!
Nah mate, from Sydney/Wollongong, however my father may have franchised a family interstate...
Time will tell.
@@Blakestylez a well loved teacher at my school was Mr. Noonan.
Loving and looking forwards to the kei content! Just got my first suzuki kei car, an Alto Lapin SS.
He21s. I see you are a man of taste as well. I had a non SS version Lapin for about 5mins. I do regret selling it but I have too many cars.
If you check out the merch store I have some lapin goods over there you might like.
@@GarageKei will do! Expect to see some videos from me on my SS. 2WD version, hoping to explore and shed light on them. Shockingly low english language information on them.
@@GarageKei i also looked at the merch store and could only see the name on the garage door option.
Can’t wait to hear how it ends
It's next on the agenda.
I gotta get this altezza moving first.
Nice
Nice job. Also reminded me to have a haircut......
Hahahahaha this was filmed a few weeks ago and you'll be happy to know I have had a haircut since.
@@GarageKei Get a perm next time, would suit you.
@@natalielambert4378 "I'm far too cheap for that"
@@GarageKei Something never change :) It's Chris btw....
I think you'd be using the "rage" text throughout the whole video if you were working on a UK car, every bolt snapping just imagine!
Same car in India comes with a 1.2L 4 cylinder engine from the swift called the Suzuki Eeco
What's the chassis number?
Sir can i ask you something?
How about my water temperature gauge is exceed from a 1/2 level is it normal?
Hahaha sir i ask you. Pls i need good asnwer 😂🙏
I don't really know what "normal" is...
Normal for one van might not be normal for another.
I don't know which engine is in your van...
I think if your fans are turning on and off when they should then you're fine.
If you're worried about it then get a Lazer thermometer and aim it at the thermostat housing. If that's not too hot then you're probably fine.
These vans are getting older. When was the last time a thermostat was installed? When was the last time it had a coolant flush?
It might be time to do those things...
If you're unsure, take it to a mechanic.
@@GarageKei noted sir.
Hmmm my engine unit is f6a and model is da52v.
I'll try to check my engine temperature then the reading was about 60 celcius. So sir i dont know what is the good temp.
@@GarageKei unfortunately sir on our country is so hot i dont think so if my van carry the weather we has on there.
PHILIPPINES IS SUPER HOT
so i decided to remove the thermostat and direcr my fan.
I do flush and replace new coolant only. 😁
The van was designed to run with the thermostat. if you've removed it then of course you're going to have trouble.
60° C is way too low.
You did a nice video but you didn't test the car to see if it work
I know it works because I've done it before but not with an automatic.
Do that in a future video.
And then Manuel swap it.
Get a pipe wrench. Just had to bend the same thing on my every wagon
How to make Suzuki Every van faster? Put Suzuki Hayabusa engine in it...
Terrible idea.
So the Landy is the bigger non Kei brother. What we’re the engine options on that Dave? Was it still f6a or did they go k10a turbo?
Exactly! Da32w Landy is the non Kei da52/62 van.
It seats 7!!!
The engine is a g13b and it was only available in automatic.
I fitted the g16b from a baleno with modded gearbox adapter plate from a g13b
Will a g13b diff swap into a 2002 carry truck
