Theresa Bova Thats a good comment, really good. Its a shame other comments have gotten all the attention. They're boring, copy and pasted. Maybe youtube needs a new fresh comment like yours. Maybe, the other comments need to be deleted...
You have a point, yes, you always did come up with the best plans. but who would do the destroying? It must be so clever and subtle that the person could leave a comment on a comment for weeks, unnoticed, and then strike. Does that sound like anyone you know?
Life hack: Next time you're reading Macbeth, mentally change the main character's name to Mister Macbeth. It's hilarious AND it's much more polite. (I naturally assume you read Macbeth all the time. You're so cultured and clever. Too bad SAM doesn't see it that way...)
***** It's the plot of Romeo and Juliet. It's pretty gangster. Two teenagers from rival families fall in "love" after meeting one time and proceed to closet bang and get hitched. Then shit gets *real.*
shout out to the person that posted this to tumblr and now ive seen it and am so obsessed, such great taste is sketches, too bad sam doesnt see it that way.........
+Corranhorn122 I agree Sam kills it - im sure you may have seen it, but if not, check out a Hardly Working - Philip Seymour Hoffman - one of my favorites forever - hold on, im gonna get the exact title bc they did a couple PSH videos and they were all amazing (RIP PSH)
I find that the older Hardly Workings were a lot better and they also had shorter titles than the newer ones. They also didn't focus on being "relatable"
actually they did focus on being relatable, that was this team's great strength, making things really relatable and really funny. The new team tries this but mostly fails because they try to incorporate too much political stances into it.
You're really good at this collegehumor, REALLY good! It's a shame that you have less subscribers than machinima. Perhaps you should do something about it...perhaps something...permanent.
In the play Macbeth (you know, that one by Shakespeare) Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to murder the king so that he can take the throne. So in this videos context "macbething" is convincing someone to take out the person who stands in their way of gaining more power.
Funny thing is, the rubber safety tip fell off of one of the rapiers the actors used in the original play, and it stabbed the other actor. So technically, that DID happen in the play.
College Humor your so good at comedy you should be the only comedy channel, I mean you would become so popular if you were to "bump off" the other channels. Be the innocent channel yet be the troller underneath!
'Mr Macbeth', by Shakespeare
Dr. Shakespare
@@owenmcgrath1127 mr dr Shakespeare
@@blackhokage1744 Mr. Dr. Shookspeared.
@@yevheniishyshko7961 Mr Dr Proffesor Shakespeare
Honestly, honestly, honestly, this is one of my favorite sketches of all time.

Honestly Dan, honestly, f**k you
This and the book club, such........ original premises
I've never read Mr Macbeth!
+Nick Wells Amazing hahahahaha
We just say Macbeth.
But you just said-
Doesn't matter who.
Nick Wells so how did he know how to mrs Macbeth someone
lucky we learn it in school in the UK
That's a 9/10 punchline

YOU'RE LADY MACBETHING ME!!
AcehighLawnmowers For all's too weak for brave Mr Macbeth
Cultured? Clever? You think so huh...?
Brb gonna kill Sam
@@NikSwiftDigs Of course! You're really really clever. Anyone can see that... perhaps with Sam gone, you can finally show the world your worth
"I've never read Mr. Macbeth!"
This is one of the most creative sketches in a while!
This is the funniest comment I've read.
I love that Murphy assumes his name is Mr Macbeth purely because his wife is called Lady Macbeth.
This is such a great twist ending.
One time I dated this girl from a family that was feuding with mine. We caused the death of six people. Haha, they got montagued
*****
Turns out, Romeo and Juliet is *not* a romance. ;3
***** It's the plot of Romeo and Juliet. It's pretty gangster. Two teenagers from rival families fall in "love" after meeting one time and proceed to closet bang and get hitched. Then shit gets *real.*
+Homini Lupus aslo juliet is like 14 and the entire play takes place in less than a week
seven seveen
Exactly. It's actually a pretty offputting story.
+Homini Lupus I didn't know people who successfully committed suicide could still type.
shout out to the person that posted this to tumblr and now ive seen it and am so obsessed, such great taste is sketches, too bad sam doesnt see it that way.........
I’m here from that post too 😭😭
Searched for a few minutes for this sketch. I didnt even remember what it was about, all I knew is that I needed to hear murph say Mr. McBeth again
This one's creative, I like it.
I'm happy with anything that has Sam in it.
Try hardly working - pledge of allegiance. It has sam looking like he wished he had been invited to be in the video.
haha ook i will
+Corranhorn122 I agree Sam kills it - im sure you may have seen it, but if not, check out a Hardly Working - Philip Seymour Hoffman - one of my favorites forever - hold on, im gonna get the exact title bc they did a couple PSH videos and they were all amazing (RIP PSH)
+Corranhorn122 Philip Seymour Hoff-men /watch?v=OakCDoYPe6s - oh man start to finish so good
Murph and Owen were such a great duo. They made some gold together.
He got stabbed because of bad luck. He should've called it "The Scottish Play."
i have watched this roughly 500 times. it never becomes less entertaining.
I think about the quote "I've never read Mr. Macbeth" almost daily
the amount of times they must have said macbeth on set.... they're all cursed according to everyone in the film or theater industry I've ever met.
and what do you know, all they're best people left except sam and now they got to political alienating certain portions of their fanbase on the reg
not really in a theatre and wouldn't really consider this theatre so probs not
That explains what happened to CollegeHumor...
The curse isn’t active if you’re performing Macbeth. This isn’t Macbeth itself but it is a dramatic production derivative on it so it might be fine
He got Hamleted!
AmethystEyes haha
He got Julius Ceasared at the end there, lol!
That was less Lady Macbeth and more Cassius from Julius Casar.
+JVBeast Doesn't play out the same punchline though.
Oh. yes. now that you point it out I see it.
Well, Murph never read Mister Macbeth. Why did you expect an accurate portrayal?
This is literally in my top 5 CH sketches. It’s so good
i thought he was going to say "You totally just got mercutioed!"
i like your hair
Lol, that would have been a better ending
I have 27 tabs open to college humor videos and its 1:30am on a tuesday
I find that the older Hardly Workings were a lot better and they also had shorter titles than the newer ones. They also didn't focus on being "relatable"
What do you mean? This ones relatable
actually they did focus on being relatable, that was this team's great strength, making things really relatable and really funny. The new team tries this but mostly fails because they try to incorporate too much political stances into it.
The *number* *type of person* you find at every *Place*
CHeck it out, I'm College Humur, hahahahahahahaha I'm so creative
+Tettares Most of the sketches the current cast do have nothing to do with politics.
The "relatable" aspect is what makes people share them, which is what makes CH ad revenue unfortunately. Ricky explained this in his TED talk
Now that Sam is becoming more of a "character", tormenting Brennan, this sketch is becoming more relevant.
MR MACBETH LMFAO IM DEAD
But no, seriously. When is that "Thong Song" parody coming out?
*theater kid screaming*
+Charlie Pearce waIT THAT IS KELLIN
Cameron Baba yeh
This ending always cracks me up!
A timeless classic.
Such a beautiful sketch
This is the best college humor vid i've seen in a long time. Nailed it!
Best Collegehumor video for a while
wait i just realized sam is robert reich's son. that's hilarious
:O that's awesome.
One of Owen and Murph's best plays :D
I'm headcannoning this sketch as the reason why Sam went on to run Dropout
From my understanding of succession this is what Tomgreg is. But like the sketch has less stabbing
hah, mr. macbeth
Lady Macbeth?
Lady *Macdeath.
Quarter pounder with cheese..?
I don't remember writing that haha
I'm lovin' it.
owen is actually getting better!
Lol I love when a character in a book/show/movie pulls a lady Macbeth! This made my night!
Murphy really gets around the office, doesn’t he?
You're really good at this collegehumor, REALLY good! It's a shame that you have less subscribers than machinima. Perhaps you should do something about it...perhaps something...permanent.
Oh damn, you Lady Macbeth’d them, Machinima’s blood is on your hands
This guy's just simply restating his favorite part of the video, don't stress over it
Thank you, I would have never known that's what he said had you not commented it.
Don't give in to Shakespeer-pressure
This is one of my favorites just watched it a second time.
So awesome!!!
I got kicked out of my theater for playing this video
Perfect line to close with.
In the play Macbeth (you know, that one by Shakespeare) Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth to murder the king so that he can take the throne. So in this videos context "macbething" is convincing someone to take out the person who stands in their way of gaining more power.
I'm super happy at the Sassy Gay Friend reference at 1:51
+Japorilogos YASS
One does not simply hope another person doesn't have children.
The nerdier ones would called it Emperor Palpatineing it..
+Packie McReary Since when has Elizabethan theater become not-nerdy?
How is Shakespeare less nerdy than star wars?!
Murph is by far my favorite person in all of collegehumor
This is so much funnier after studying Macbeth. Sidenote: thank god I don't have to do English Lit anymore
Literally every moment in all of Tales From The Borderlands
this is way too good
reading this for a class now, and writing an essay, might have to cite this
Killing it in pitch meetings is tight
It's awesome cause we just read Macbeth and now I get this
When your actually thankful your school made you learn this just to get the reference.
I'd ship it
Funny thing is, the rubber safety tip fell off of one of the rapiers the actors used in the original play, and it stabbed the other actor. So technically, that DID happen in the play.
Really funny. I didn't even notice the little pun in the description box :)
i love these
I love both these guys. Dorkly op :)
This is a great skit
Yes, Mr Macbeth was quite a thrilling play.
This was a really good one!
Mr. Macbeth goes to Washington.
RUclips has a problem where it takes a day or two to update over 302
Never seen this one, good job
That was freaking great.
you smell that? it'sthe smell of good humor on collegehumor, i like it.
He's implying it's redundant, since we all watched the video.
Def in the top ten CHs
Favourite, I love this.
This is only time something from school ever came up in real life
College Humor your so good at comedy you should be the only comedy channel, I mean you would become so popular if you were to "bump off" the other channels. Be the innocent channel yet be the troller underneath!
Dude, I cannot agree anymore. Anymore at all.
i lol'ed at the end when he said he never saw mr mcbeth
just finished the play today for school, I wish I saw this before(:
I love Mac Beth it is a really good play
*grabs popcorn* go on! This is starting to get good!
Lol, why are their so many sketches about killing Sam?!😂
I love how you keep reusing the same fake knife all the time.
oh snap, you should read the play Macbeth. You would like it.
I remember waiting to read this in highschool so it would finally all make sense
Why not? am I not cool enough for your "precious" friendship?
one of my all time favs. I miss the old college humor
I always insist on being Lady Macbeth when we read in class
I read this in math, I especially love the trigonometric metaphors
Still my favourite video they did. Also still looking for a opportunity too lady macbeth someone
haha definitely one of the good skits
XD I love this channel and (most of) the shit you put out!
This sketch was fucking awesome! Great job
I love that they made this happen
Dan Gurewitch, Amir Blumenfeld and Josh are all gifts to collegehumour
the ending. I'm dying.
no, he saw you
right click and click on "stop download" for a nice surprise
