Me and my best friend Manny used to listen to this song all the time when we were up late playing video games. He passed away in 2013, but I still come back here for the memories. I miss you man.
Don't miss him next time!
I played this at my husband's funeral with a slide show. I totally miss my dude, 5 yrs rip, 30yrs of marriage. Great song and singer.
Kyle Gass is the most underrated guitarist ever, he is a master.
this song is making me miss that dude without even knowing him
How fucking epic is this? It's a song about how you miss someone who was always there for you, and then all of the sudden jesus comes in for a solo
I grew up with a dude who was my bestfriend for those crucial years of when I was discovering who I was. We literally hung out every day and did everything together. He introduced me to tenacious d and metal music in general. We would sing this song literally all the time to see who had the better vocals. His family would always take me on their family trips as well. My identity and some of my best childhood memories happened because of him. Unfortunately, we lost contact once we were around 16 years old. I miss you bro. But I'm glad you were there as my bestfriend for a short while.
The fact that they sound even better live is the greatest gift
Ion think Kyle gets enough credit
Jack Black is a national treasure we must keep him alive
This taken seriously is one of the most masterful and beautiful songs ever.
My best friend died last month and we grew up loving tenacious D.
My brother passed away a few years ago; we were only a year apart. His name starts with a J and mine with a K and we called eachother "JB and KG" just being funny and because we loved Tenacious D.
Only Tenacious D could make me laugh and cry at the same time.
When the song is soo good that Jesus comes from heavens for a fucking solo
I still just can't believe how this guys can make such simple musical ideas into such masterpieces
Kyle Gass is such an underrated musician he really puts in a lot of passion and feel into his solos
I totally miss Tenacious D. Legends never die
Is there any doubt that these guys are legends of our time? Even through all their humor and goofing off, they relay some very real and refined emotion that, in this song, is universally relatable.
The most underestimated musician in the world. Keep on rocking J.B.
