Bro str8 up the 1st time I seen these opened was from COGSportscards and their boxes were fire too. I thought they got loaded boxes just so people would hurry up and buy but after watching this video, it completely helped me over the fence. Hobby boxes are ridiculous and for a little more than 200$ u have chances of pulling some awesome vintage rookie cards from basketball football baseball and I believe hockey as well, but regardless freaking amazing bruh. Salute from Melbourne Florida
@@NicoSportscards was Claremont the one right off the Freeway in the little strip mall? Owner was Bill? Place sucked but he did pull the Jim Thorpe Auto out of Leaf or TriStar there. Place did get me back into collecting though since I bought a box of 07 Gridiron Gear and pulled a three color patch Auto /5 of Bart Starr. I was hooked from then on. The LCS I’m talking about is All-Star Cards I think was the name in Santee. Owner was Jerry and his daughter helped run it. I use to consign my cards there. I tell you what I pulled some great stuff out of there. Only own a few from those days still though. Also went to a shop in Chula Vista. He had great prices too but he was really old at the time so I don’t know if he’s still around. You from that area? What’s your LCS?
That is a pretty sweet box, Rip some more vintage repacks. The best rips I think ever are going through boxs of vintage cards you buy at a flea market. Go buy some shoe box;s of cards
flea market shoe boxes are like 90% garbage though. terrible quality and junk. there is a 10% though I will say that you can find some old lady with a box she has no clue about and has some insane cards. I have seen a few small cases where there are people who had family members die and they have absolutely no clue about sports cards at all and just sell boxes of 1,000-10,000 cards for like 100 bucks lol not knowing there are mickey mantles , hank Aarons, Jordan rookies, Gretzky rookies sitting in there worth thousands of dollars lol
Ya I'm wondering if dealers are just in that familiar "I bought high, I can't sell low" mentality. Single prices are definitely coming down online but box prices remain pretty nuts. What's interesting is panini isn't selling everything out right away on their site... might be a sign
Most of the 1986-87 Fleer basketball commons have amazing value in PSA 10 and still pretty good value in a PSA 9. The Vern Fleming is a $700 card if you can luck out and it grades a 10.
@@NicoSportscards A box with repacked cards ! Fresh out the pack means from the original wax pack, not a card that's been touched by many & judged to be not worth keeping ! So, they toss in a handful of big names and the rest fillers & repack... then sell for aprox. twice what those big cards worth $ Thats why there are so many of these repackage deals springing up all over the internet ! They are nice cards don't get me wrong, but for me only worth 125'ish Best of luck with the channel & thank you for the video I love the old classic cards of 1950's - 1985 🙂👍 ( Can't stand the overpriced flashy sh*t they are selling today )

I don't know what's worse. The really old major dealers that treat collectors like crap if you're not spending $10,000+ at their booth, or the newer dealers that act like breakers chasing the big thing and yelling yeah baby! Both are CRINGE WORTHY. I prefer middle of the road dealers with vintage and modern that love the hobby and will gladly chat a little about players we like.
Interesting box. Usually not much into rrpacks, but at least you don't break the bank for it. Now that 80s cards are gaining in popularity, hopefully the early 90s will be next. I have a TON from, esp 92'- 94'. Think 93' I have the most of, but then took off for awhile to grow up, get an education, etc...then started again around 2017. Ohhhhh how I wish things would go back to the way they were before the Covid Invaders started screwing everything up. They just don't love the sport/hobby the way us "true" collectors do. Only care about how much they can get for every card they get & whine bitch and moan when they don't get a rookie QB. It's sad. 😥 Thanks for sharing! 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 Take Care/Stay Safe
You’re so right my friend. It’s so so different now. There was always something “cool” about having a card worth $40 or $50 but it was NEVER about that. It was about the look of the card, the player on the card, the fun of chasing your favorite players and heck even the stats on the back!
Just pulled some Massive finds opening a Universal Treasures Red Hot Box on my channel, 225.00 for a Regular Box is a great deal considering the possible Jordan , Montana, Henderson rookies & 2nd year Jordan's and Vintage 50's Mickey Mantle's
These boxes are for TRUE sportscard collectors. Vintage HOF cards will only keep increasing in value over the years. The products that are being sold in today’s market are ridiculously overpriced and overrated. I’ve been collecting since 1976 of all sports cards and memorabilia. The stories that go along with the vintage athletes are also worth the purchase. Owning some of the “GREATEST” players to have ever played in their sport is an absolute must have in my opinion. 👍👍

Great call on the Jerry Rice dude
Great hits!
1985 psa 7 mcgwire i picked up for $45 and the 86 rice psa 8 got for $125...so maybe a good box price
I pulled a Montana rookie from a pack once. Graded an 8. Great vid!👍
Awesome !! That’s a dream card
Fun vid! screw the naysayers who bashed the price. It's about the joy of opening and maybe pulling a MAJOR hit.

I’ve got that Michael Cooper card signed IP by him at a LCS in San Diego back in 2008ish brings back memories!
Which LCS? If I remember back in 2008 they only have Claremont and maybe Century Sports cards left
