40+ years of singing on the road, pretty much every night.....i'd say Paul deserves a ton of credit. He missed 1 show in 40+ years....not many ppl have that kind of dedication or work ethic......i commend him!

Age changes everything and even though his voice is different he still goes out there with his band and rocks every single gig they have. No matter how much time has passed Kiss will never be forgotten by their true fans. Kiss has made Rock and Roll history and they have not given up on their pasion and their fans like a lot of other bands have...I miss Ace and Peter but the true band members are Gene and Paul who have continued the success of their band no matter who leaves or comes...we owe that to them. What would have been of Kiss if Paul and Gene had ended it once Peter and Ace left, they would just be a band who never got to fulfill their dreams and the music wouldnt have been shared through the many generations.

At this point in their careers, didn't need to WOW or impress ANYONE.. Just their presence ALONE, that audience should be honored to have seen this performance. One of the greatest to ever do it. If I was stranded on an island and I was able to listen to 5 bands the rest of my life..... My top 5: (no particular order) Pink Floyd The Beatles The Rolling Stones Led Zeppelin Kiss (if I was given a bonus band) Nirvana

This band in this video would never have become the iconic band that they were. I believe limitations must have been placed on them. I want to see the real KISS.......This is just an imitation of what made them great.
Paul always sang at a much higher vocal range than Gene. Vocal chords can only handle so much of that night after night especially considering how long they have toured. Give Paul a break, Paul isn't gonna sing like he's twenty after years of that type of singing. Paul actually has a great low range voice it would be nice to hear it more.
Voices aside, who knew that Paul could do opera? I'm referring to Phantom of the Opera where he played the part of the Phantom for 18 months at the Pantages Theater in Toronto.
***** I know it's a bit controversial to say, but Peter is way overrated. No doubt a fine drummer, but not some godly drummer KISS fans like to make him out to be. He lucked out, teaming up with Ace, Paul, and Gene.
While as a purist, I don't disagree with that, they did leave on their own accord - twice. I'm thankful I got to see them all together on the Farewell Tour and I haven't seen them with the new lineup (the ticket prices have been insane, too, so I'm not all that motivated to see them for that price without Ace) but I don't begrudge them for continuing on. You can't live your life for others, and Ace/Peter leaving was their own choice. It sucks they can't get along, but I don't blame Gene/Paul any more than I blame Ace/Peter, especially if we're boiling it down to loyalty.

One dreaded word: Time. It happened to so many greats: Paul Stanley, Jeff Keith from Tesla, Geddy Lee from Rush. You name it, their chops have waned with time. Doesn’t mean these guys can’t still put it down! I still think Paul’s great.
