A VCA was the one that the series 2 actually was missing! But in the whole Tukan package I still remember the dis-treasure as a VCA option, which, well... wasn't my most used one.
I really miss a VST plugin compressor with a gate/hold function. I can't find one anywhere. When the gate falls below a threshold, the compressor freezes at the last compression value. The compressor resumes working when the gate rises above the threshold. This sounds particularly nice on speech.
Great work!..I noticed however that in "Show embedded UI in MPC" no display appears in the channel strip chain. Is that really true? It's not important, anyway! Thank you
Having some display issues on Win11. I updated my Tukan folder under "Effects" in Reaper. I copied the contents of the new version (sourced from GitHub) of the folder and replaced/updated any files. My knobs and buttons aren't visible. Guitar and Bass station still work fine.
@@johnmatthews8435 Thanks for the response. I went back and deleted the Tukan folder under "Effects" and replaced it with the new one, and it worked. Windows File Explorer was "doing me favors" again. The old Tukan had gotten corrupted.
Thanks John Mathews, I haven't a clue what a VCA compressor is, but this sounds great on my guitar. More compressors the better

You've already made a SSL bus comp emulation, right? The SSL bus comp is also a feedforward VCA comp.

Strange. I don't see why it should not work. But if you can, use the safer way with ReaPack :) (I'll have a look at that...)
