i20 diesel model 2014-2019 real facts
1. Bumper to bumper mileage in first' gear: 9-10
2. Average in second gear: 10
3. Average in second and third gear: 10-11
4. Average in third and fourth gear( mostly in third gear): 11-12
5. Average in third and fourth gear (mostly in forth gear) 12-13.5
6. Highway average in summers: 18-19( minimum 100km strech)
7. Highway average winters: 19.5-21
These are actually tested values with new continental tyres (195/55/r16 UC 6)
tyres condition, gear and break also matter but 23-24 or more mileage is never possible for this vehicle if driving above 85. Further, the vehicle used in this video does not show mileage on display. It's only excitement of owner

I also own the same diesel elite i20 asta 2015 model. I have clocked 1 lac kms till date. I can very much related to this video. The clutch of my car also had become a bit hard at 70000kms but its still going on well till now. The battery and the tires have been changed at around 75k kms.. The engine is still very silent. And returns a milege of 16-17 in city and 20+ on highways. The suspension has now got sound but its still manageable. No doubt diesel elite i20 is just an amazing car. The car can still go more 1 lac km without any any hassle and problems.

Dude, 16-17 in city with diesel means something is wrong with your car, petrol variant gives 15-17 in city

For battery issues, agar car long term tak khadi rakhni hai to battery terminal nikal k rakho, koi issues nahi ayega. My personal experience 😎😎😎👌👌👌👌

Maine bhi thoda market rate(olx) se high li th 2016 i20 asta(o) petrol 14k odometer, service record verified at hyundai. Only 1 out of 10 cars in second hand cars’ market are problem free. Try to stay away from OLX. I haven’t spent a single buck on this car in comparison to my last second hand car(spent a few thousands) . One more thing buying a lower variant and then adding accessories is not a very good idea. Stock is Stock. We use car less but whenever we do , happiness quotient increases bec of the premium features and comfort. you always look back to check out the car.

Clutch overhauling needed that's the reason the clutch is hard! And if he changes the battery it should be amaron not exide.

Amaron bekaar hai humne sf dekha lekkin exide jaisa koi nahi laga, aur sab ki apni rai hai,hame exide ne acha saat diya.

Absolutely true, The only minus point of I 20 is the bite of the brakes at high speed and the suspension set up which is on the softer side. Every hyundai car's has the same issues. Telling this because I do myself own a 2019 model asta O diesel model. 🤓

i too bought 2014 elite diesel in 2018 and it was driven 83k when i bought it … i also checked all the service records and now i drove it around 140k and it’s still running buttery smooth ..

I 20 diesel gives a city mileage of 12-14 kmpl. The owner in the video claiming he is getting 20 kmpl plus mileage seems to be extremely unlikely. Power and other comfort aspects are top notch indeed.

In this model, average cannot be seen on display...Owner is over excited about the car...DDS is practically correct as they are telling the switches condition. I am owner of i20... City mileage 12-13kmpl and highway 18-19 with ac in summer. Highway 19.5-21 in winters

Jo log bol rhe hai i20 23 ki mileage nhi deti, unke pass i20 nhi hai. I have i20 asta diesel 2018 model, City mein 14-16 ka & highway pe 20-24 & hills pe 12-15 ka mileage bade aaram se nikalti hai with full load & great performance along with buttery smooth refinement.
I also have i20 diesel 2011. Its very good. Mileage is 21. Waise insurances me owner ka nm hota h usse baat kar lete. Waise gaadi mahengi hai. 4 se 4.25 tak mil jani chahiye thi.

I own 2017 - i20 asta Diesel top model and I can say this is the best car ever driving. I own previously polo petrol and dzire diesel, but i20 diesel is super fun to drive with performance. I do get around 19kmpl highway and in city around 15kmpl. NewGEN i20 is pathetic with look/build quality and not fun to drive.

Tyres bhout costly hai es model k. Company service bhi ( servicing at 30k & 50k is Rs 7000, at 40k and 60k its Rs 8500). Only service with filters change included. Better to go with ecosport, maximum service cost is 4500.

Yes over acceleration give black smoke because the more diesel goes in the burning cylinder not burned fully so it's results out black smoke...
I20 elite diesel is superb car. Clutch i20 ka 60000 km se hi hard ho jata hai 80k km tak change krwana is needed.
I am driving one 2016 model 1.40 lakh km driven and there is no issue with it till now.

I searched for Diesel i20 2016/17 for 3 4 months got a few some very bad condition some good but the price quoted was way too high around 6/6.5 ended up buying Altroz petrol.
