    I also faced same issue of Engine Check Light on next day of purchase. After visiting to service center they reset it and never got that light again. Feeling bad for you....But good to know that Tata Motors helped promptly...

    first i thought this is another biased video, but what a story man!!! i seriously empathize with the owner. Nobody should go through this much pain to own a car. What I admire is how Tata and other team members ensured all issues are resolved.

    Well explained the road and parking ethics by Amitabh. Adding to this, In case of parking space congestion, if one has to park the vehicle closely to others, Always keep a slip on your dashboard with contact details mentioned, so that concerned person can be contacted for any sort of required action. Take care of yourself. Drive Safe...!!

    Good to hear the manager took complete responsibility of the problem, and got the problem sorted to the customers satisfaction. That's how it should be at all the SVC center's. The engine's will keep improving with time.

Kisi bhi situation me apna patience loose nahi kar na hai aur decisions tandi dimaag le lena chahiye. Kya narration kara hai inhone pure episode ka. Itni thandi dimaag aur namr behaviour. Hats off.     Maine Altroz li thi.. 10 din me battery issue aaya.. SC walo be battery change kar Diya.. no issues after that… service Center guys are very supportive.. Tata service is improving a lot… loved the experience since then…

    I think there was no problem with previous engine as well. The owner is saying that the engine was opened when he reached, maybe they were checking the sensor connections. But really surprised to see that your problem got resolved in 1 week 😂

    Faced the similar problem in my new Nexon.. TATA changed the engine twice in less than 3000 km.. suffered a lot due to poor service and manufacturing defect of TATA. It was a mental harassment from TATA. Lost all the confidence and believe in my Car and TATA.

      Although dealer was trying to be over smart but this young can caught them very smartly, TATA on corporate level is quite cooperative with their customers and dealers know that in case Customer approaches the Corporate then dealer will be in real trouble.

When u play music u never able catch it but there is some point should be better... Other wise lots of positive things in this car... It's not tiago... It's Lord Tiago👌

    Thia guy is real gentlemen, handled them with politeness. I agree that such problem can arise with any manufacturer.... But it makes a huge difference how the customer is treated after that.... they could have said we are replacing the engine at first time only by themselves, instead of making him fool we are upgrading software... this is wrong for which TATA and there sevice centers are shit... If you really want to know how to treat customer learn from FORD (alas they left now, as we need cheap tin ka dabba).....

    1. Car owner is amazing , after all that pain with engine you are so positive. Hats off . I had steering issue with hyundai and was worried alot thanks for teaching the lesson of being optimist.
    You are a great human being with amazing message in the end @27:00 min. Gajab gusse ka control bhai.
    2. Tata service center and GM took the task to himself and did a great job. The lower level people always take it by somehow try to fix without working on root cause.
    Hope such problems never occur to anyone and if it happens, we get such people for help :D .
    3. @DDS : Thanks for sharing a great video, but subject line is pretty negative. In earlier videos for safari vs xuv 700 the problem with tata (hard clutch safari, sound of altroz) was only prioritized.
    What is your view for tata as a whole, with all the experience you have gone through ?

    Unfortunate but this can happen with any brand, my cousin got some problem with his automatic Honda city, and they got changed it’s complete engine from company under warranty only.

    Even with extremely high quality Six Sigma standards, there will be 3.4 defects for every 10 lac cars.
    May be this guy is among those 3.4.

      Altroz sells like 5-6k units a month. Taking six sigma into account and Tata’s history of short product lifecycle I doubt they would sell 10 lac altroz.
      But point taken.
      However, my personal experiences with Tata especially in terms of engines are abysmal.

    I had the same issue with my Tiago (2019 xz+). Check engine light came on a few days after purchase. The first time, they removed it after connecting their laptop. The light came on again the next day. On second visit, they found the culprit to be the brake switch (one which controls the brake light when the pedal is pressed). They changed the switch and there has been no issue after that.
    I also think, bekar main engine badal diya. Pani toh pehle se bhi hoga, ye toh check nahi kiya tha pehle.

      I agree with two out of three points u suggested at the end, because some ppl literally sleep in their car while on signal or they start taking on phone. I do prefer to wait upto 5sec for any such scenario, but what could we do when thr is only 30sec of green light and the person is just not moving.

    5. Very important last but not least, Ye problem kisi ke bhi sath aur kisi bhi brand me ho sakti hai kyoki ab cars mechanical ke sath sath electronic bhi ho chuki hai. Isiliye after market kuch bhi karwane se pehle kam se kam 1000km ya fir 1 month gadi ko original rehne dena chahiye, taki company wale kuch blame na kar sake.

    This can happen with any car company...my baleno had a steering column failure and was a manufacturing defect but maruti guys were not so transparent and I could not get it replaced.

    Car owner is honest, cool guy and not have a narrow thinking mind. Kabhi kabhi bad luck hota hai ki lakho me koi ek car ke saath aisa ho jaaye. Tiago is safe, economic & value for money car. I will say to channel owner that sir even you have putted right title as per story but if story end is good then atleast you can remove "beda Garg" word from video title because this word is putting hard impression for the whole brand which is not good many users only view title not whole video and create impression. Company is an Indian company who is contributing in Indian economy, generating employment for Indians and continuously improving quality of product in car industry. We shouldn't think only a consumer point of view. Please don't mind, thanks for your effort in making valuable videos for users. 🙏

      Tata ne Bahut acha kaam kiya hai.. engine ka issue tha hi nahi...fir v sirf doubt par engine badal diya. Main issue ye tha ki engine me pani tha😀

      Mechanical problems can occur in any machine including millions dollar aircraft
      But changing the complete engine in just 1 week

    I had similar issue with engine light post 20000km run. The engine light was coming due to faulty one sensor in Turbo. Maruti took utmost care, they kept car for 2-3 days and diagnosed issue and replaced Turbo.. post replacement did 100 km test ride where we drove at speed even at 120kmph..issue was fully resolved..car in question is Ertiga ZDI

    Such type of issues can come in any car of any brand... In the end it's a machine... Important is how the service provider helps you after this in an empathetic way..
    We ourself faced similar kind of issue with our XUV500 (W11) in the past and trust me seedha Dil pe lagti hai.. As if we wasted our hard earned money.
    But good to know that brother's car is riding absolutely fine now.. 👍

    Gud that you shared such video. Tata has manufacturing issues sometimes, my friend has faced this. He was asked to change engine. He filed a case for replacing car as he didn't want to take a new car with engine issue. Indian consumer compromise on service, that's why Tata and Mahindra survive. Agree that they have great cars, but they need to improve manufacturing and service.
