I have exactly the same experience with my Altroz XT. When we travel to our native place we always travel with 5 or sometimes 6 adults & fully loaded boot, but still the engine doesn't feel stressed, runs the same as it does with 1 or 2 adults.❤ And also got cruise control in Rs.8 lakh in Oct 2020.✌
Owner is very happy with his car.. Good for him.. Tata has been a revolution in Car industry with safety, features and new innovation (I-CNG).. Hopefully their new updated version in future will have punchy engine response..

Exactly what the owner said about performance becoz everyone's requirements are different. Own an Adventure MT variant suspension and ride quality is very good sticks to road in highway have got milage of 13-15kmpl in city and hav got 24 in highway, yes there are fit and finish issues but have seen that in new brezza & glanza also over-all happy with fulfilment of my requirements of commuting my family on bad roads which is common in where i live. And mainly love the SUV stance the car offers.
Off lately TATA has been doing good in passenger car segments both in terms of safety and ride comfort. Only thing i as a user of TATA safari regret is the Ladder On Frame Vehicle by TATA. Hope in near future they come out with some good LoF vehicle. Good Review as usual Ravi sir is so spontaneous and without a single cut.
We bought Tata punch in June. We learned in it. I agree with Singh Sahab regarding it’s features. Exact story is my as Singh Sahab’s. Tata Punch is my first car. We also recommend for it.
Headroom is very important for Sardars .... that's one of the reasons they use to consider RITZ over other cars in the past. End of the day Mom's the BOSS she gets to decide 🙂
WagonR Santro and Ritz were preferred by Sardars... Coz these cars offer better head room.. But Ritz was best of the lot due to better handling power comfort and suspension..

I have a bs4 Tiago and both this and Punch share same engine. I can vouch for the engine reliability - i recently did solo drive 900 kms single day with 22kmpl mileage. Engine may not be refined but sturdy and reliable.

Thank you for this review. Very insightful aaur is product mein confidence badha deti hai. Only issue with Punch is the door locking mechanism. People with small children unless using child lock function on door directly..won't feel absolutely safe. Tata Motors should bring normal door locking mechanism in Altroz and Punch.
his situation is exactly like mine.. except that I have a budget of 10 lakhs. I checked Punch first and I'm getting Creative DT at 9.09 lakhs. Then went to check Brezza, loved Brezza but only ZXI Variant giving the required features and that is way too costly. Went to check i20 Asta, the car is way too fancy and didn't seem sturdy to take off roads, checked Venue...looks big outside but very small inside & then the required features variant crossed budget. Checked Baleno, felt premium but build is poor and then there's a big bump in the rear which will make middle passenger life hell on long drive. Finally, I've thought to settle with what I started with... Punch Creative DT

I have a Tiago only driven 20k kms. But it's fuel pump broke down. It's engine also has issues. During cold start, it needs time until it warms up completely otherwise it jerks while driving.

Sedan me toh gaddhe me baithne jaysa hai, Paaji ne sahi bola baithne ke Baad uthna और nikalna difficult hai. Sedans are fun to drive with low height sitting & good for Highway driving. Where body roll is minimised to almost zero. Chipak the के chalti hai. Its A Curse for seniors & middle age to get & out of the Car. Tata Punch lacks World class refined engine. So would se Engine me PUNCH hi nahi hai aur high NVH levels hai. Rev karne per Shor karta hai. Punch would become a killer Combo with EV motor. Nice & complete observational episode on TATA Punch covering minute details also. Though out of context but I can't refrain myself of to compare one car of Maruti Sizuki stable "RITZ" petrol Vxi which I found same sturdy, same spacious interior & height though looking small from outside comparing other cars of same segment hatch back, same or better comfortable superbly reliable. Exceptionally stable at high speed like 140 km/h as well as low speed at rough road, fantastic pickup, very little service cost. I am an owner of Ritz Vxi since last 10 years my experience with my vehicle very much matching with the experience of this Tata Punch owner, in this episode. So some sturdy cars are also available from Maruti Suzuki stable also.
Unfortunately Ritz is not coming and car that replaced it.. Ignis is piece of shit in front of Ritz.. I have driven Ritz diesel and petrol amazing handling and suspension for the car of that height...
@@gearedtorule Maruti have not done justice to it's dedicated customer by depriving of such good vehicle by stopping it's production in 2016. Actually this car was made for Europe at their standard in the name of Splash. They start making it at Manesar plant at same standard in the name Ritz.They should have continued with this car!

Ravi does Punch has the faulty central lock issue, as per few owners door locks open at rear from inside even without opening the small knob.

tata ki cars me engines sudhar jayena to bohot bada gap cover karlegi tata...demands bhi pure nahi kar payenge wo....engine bohot bure sound karte hai specially after cold start aisa lagta hai sach me kisine mini ace ya fir tractor shuru kiya ho..
Thank you for this review. Very insightful aaur is product mein confidence badha deti hai. Only issue with Punch is the door locking mechanism. People with small children unless using child lock function on door directly..won't feel absolutely safe. Tata Motors should bring normal door locking mechanism in Altroz and Punch.

his situation is exactly like mine.. except that I have a budget of 10 lakhs. I checked Punch first and I'm getting Creative DT at 9.09 lakhs. Then went to check Brezza, loved Brezza but only ZXI Variant giving the required features and that is way too costly. Went to check i20 Asta, the car is way too fancy and didn't seem sturdy to take off roads, checked Venue...looks big outside but very small inside & then the required features variant crossed budget. Checked Baleno, felt premium but build is poor and then there's a big bump in the rear which will make middle passenger life hell on long drive.
Finally, I've thought to settle with what I started with... Punch Creative DT

I have a Tiago only driven 20k kms. But it's fuel pump broke down. It's engine also has issues. During cold start, it needs time until it warms up completely otherwise it jerks while driving.

Sedan me toh gaddhe me baithne jaysa hai, Paaji ne sahi bola baithne ke Baad uthna और nikalna difficult hai.
Sedans are fun to drive with low height sitting & good for Highway driving. Where body roll is minimised to almost zero. Chipak the के chalti hai.
Its A Curse for seniors & middle age to get & out of the Car.
Tata Punch lacks World class refined engine. So would se Engine me PUNCH hi nahi hai aur high NVH levels hai. Rev karne per Shor karta hai.

Nice & complete observational episode on TATA Punch covering minute details also. Though out of context but I can't refrain myself of to compare one car of Maruti Sizuki stable "RITZ" petrol Vxi which I found same sturdy, same spacious interior & height though looking small from outside comparing other cars of same segment hatch back, same or better comfortable superbly reliable. Exceptionally stable at high speed like 140 km/h as well as low speed at rough road, fantastic pickup, very little service cost. I am an owner of Ritz Vxi since last 10 years my experience with my vehicle very much matching with the experience of this Tata Punch owner, in this episode. So some sturdy cars are also available from Maruti Suzuki stable also.
Unfortunately Ritz is not coming and car that replaced it.. Ignis is piece of shit in front of Ritz.. I have driven Ritz diesel and petrol amazing handling and suspension for the car of that height...
@@gearedtorule Maruti have not done justice to it's dedicated customer by depriving of such good vehicle by stopping it's production in 2016. Actually this car was made for Europe at their standard in the name of Splash. They start making it at Manesar plant at same standard in the name Ritz.They should have continued with this car!

Ritz is excellent car, hence they stopped production..Like by mistake Maruthi made a good built quality car and they regret and stopped 🤭..
