I'm a 44 year old dad, and today I learned to fix my kids bike, thanks man, now if youcould fix my wife's mood swings that would be great, tha ks again man
Even 8 years later this video is still helpful. I have a older BMX frame with this bottom bracket and it came loose but thanks to this video I can re-grease and tighten it.
I'm used to fixing mountain bikes and if there is movement in the bottom bracket it normally needs to be replaced. My son's BMX bike bottom bracket had movement so watching this video let me know that it can be tightened up on a BMX and that's what I've done, as well as regrease the bearings. Thanks for the video.
because it all looked fine even the grease looked great. plus it takes like 5 minutes or less. now if you wanna beat yourself over the head do a timing belt on a mitsu 4g64 and NOT change out the crank position center while you're in there only to have the sensor fail 5 months later.

Thank's for making this video! My cranks keep on going loose, and I just learned I need spacers inbetween my crank and bolts.

Why didn't you clean it out and re grease everything while you were in there? Or even throw on some light strength locktite on the crankarm bolt? 🤔
