I was gutted not to attend the Bristol show, I grew up in Thornbury so it is always nice to go back to my childhood town, I hope you both had a great time, I wanted to purchase some merchandise from you so I could show that I was a sub to the channel! I have a specially designed garden that was built for wheelchairs the previous owner was a paralympian so his rugby mates ( a rugby tackle was the cause of his paralysis ) made a lovely garden, we only use the patio by our door, we don’t use much of the garden, we have a small table and chairs and that suits us so you will probably appreciate the garden when you have a pond, you have plenty of space if you want to sit outside! That building is gonna look insane mate I bet you are buzzing! I was lucky enough that the house I moved in to had a insulated shed in the garden. So all I had to do with get it hooked up with electric and out all my reptiles in there. All my tarantulas and inverts stay inside in my music room.

About using plastic on outside... again dunno what kind of plastic that must be, to witstand the power of nature for years. Please don't get me wrong, as i'm not trying to play smart, but only to make you reflect on a possible reconsidering about materials which gonna be used. About those 2x conifers, from own experience saying that if you want them, they can be replaced with high chances of survival if done with enough care. Replaced many myself and only a few dried out afterwards. Hardly can wait the start of this adventure guys 🤩 Thanks for keeping us updated about it! Maybe in the future the building will have an upper floor as well ? 🤔😁

Morning Dave & Camera Lady, brilliant news on the new room, just a couple of thoughts though, I'm guessing you have got planning permission in place because of the size & height, and from personal experience, because you're so close to next door, just double check your rubber roof material is the right fire grade (I was sweating i'd slipped up on mine, nothing had been said in the planning stages, only when the final sign off came, thankfully i was OK 'cos i'd specified top grade anyway). Also think about the commercial aspect regarding house insurance, they'll look for any excuse not to cover you! Good luck with the build, keep the step by step pictures coming, can't wait to see it all up & running.
When building put lots of outlets when you think you have enough add more 😆 … in the US you can pull tabs from outlets and control the top and bottom outlets separately so you can put one hot all the time and the other on a switch

Solar panels need daylight, not sunlight, so they do work on cloudy days too 👍
