Sonic 3's Insta Shield has gotten me out of many close calls as you get a couple of s and can hit enemies from slightly further away! All I need in life is Spin Dash and Insta Sheild, I think peelout is pretty pointless...
Kinda useless considering theres no roll lock in Sonic CD and its much easier to just peel out and roll, making both the spindash and peelout kinda useless in different ways that are linked to each other funnily enough @@Eminster
Finally, a proper review of hellfire saga from you. Despite having one glitch, I love that hack to death (no pun intended). Also that transition in the end was clean.
I love how you brought up Hellfire Sage, it was been one of my favorite Sonic rom hacks. I never even notice those lines at the Eggman boss fight (Yes I did play it on hardware too so I already knew it would work) but man, it's nice to see you're still kicking. Do you have plans to go over some Sonic rom hacks that were in the hacking contest 2024? I have 3 rom hacks I think you should try.

It was so good to see these Sonic rom hacks on real Sega Mega Drive models. And I'm glad you showed Sonic Hellfire Saga too, that's a really good Sonic rom hack. 🙂 I have played through that last year using an 8Bitdo controller. I enjoyed all the stages.

The peel out is not pointless , its really useful for a very powerful burst of speed
