I love that both Gene and Paul forgot some of the lyrics to their songs! Still Killer!!!! This tour was my second time seeing KISS. I believe Uriah Heep was the warm up?
Probably one of the last times it was played on that tour. " "Radioactive" and "Tossin' and Turnin'" were played at a few shows during the tour and "Let Me Go, Rock 'n' Roll" and "Christine Sixteen" were put in their places."
Fuckin love this performance!!! Even though this show had been circulated over the years by 1994 when i got this as the KISS my Ass long form home video and saw this performance to open the video i had to rewind it at least 4 or 5 times cause they were on fire on this firing on all 4 cylinders vocal melodies on point Pauls voice top notch Ace ripping on that "Move On" solo right after that 2nd vical melody BOOM!! Ace fuckin goes off on this Bob Kulick solo that i loved on Pauls album but Ace gave it that Space Ace flair divine classic Ace!! And love Peters snare sound on this as well. Just a damn good performance love it!! lml
This is on the KISS My Ass movie released in the early 90's. my Dad bought the movie and used to put it on for me when I was 3-4? I vividly remember These 2 songs from it, a key part in the growth of my love for KISS along with the second coming film.
The KMA video was really good. I believe they got all the footage for that long form video from fans. I remember watching Kiss Exposed when I was like 6 (1988) then konfidential in the early 90s
I remember hearing them kick into Move On for ghe first time, and I had listened to every KISS album until this point except the solos... Imagine how stoked my 13 year old brain was
You said it Ajax 😂! Ace's guitar work saved Radioactive . . . as does not work in the live arena. Ace also saves Move On. Paul Stanley alleges that Ace failed to "grow as a guitarist". Yeah right Paul. The rythmn parts on Move On are tragic live. No wonder ALL the songs bar New York Groove were dropped from the Dynasty tour.
Ace did fail to grow as a guitarist. Paul was 100% spot on with that. Ace is/was a very very sloppy guitarist. Ace was great until about 1976 / 1977. After that his playing grew worse and worse. Often even horrible. That's why this video is so great because Ace is on fire on this one. That became very very rare those years.
Greg Hubbard not all that uncommon. Tons of performers have to relearn songs that haven't played in a while. Has no bearing on whether Ace has talent or not (he does.). Shit, Gene and Paul forget words to songs they've been singing for years too. It happens. I let you have Bruce Kulick because he was technical but also had feeling and memorable solos. Mark St John and Vincent were forgettable shredders (though VV was definitely a great songwriter). Ace was sloppy but that's rock n roll, I can recall almost every Ace solo, can't recall much of the others (save Kulick)
I didn't know these were played live. Great stuff! And it's funny, when I made a compilation of the best tracks from the solo-albums, these two would follow eachother too. track 1 and 2.
I have a custom KISS album that I made consisting of 10 songs from the solo albums. Album Title: Radioactive Side 1: Tonight You Belong To Me It's Alright Radioactive Rip It Out Tunnel of Love Side 2: Wouldn't You Like To Know Me Snow Blind Burnin Up With Fever Move On New York Groove
Mouloud Rafidoui I think "Radioactive" was played a few other times during the tour, "Tossing and turnng" may have been played some more too. This was a couple of weeks into the tour IIRC, so I guess they were still trying to get the final setlist - the songs that would replace "Radioactive" ans "Tossing and turning" ("Let me go, rock n roll" and "Christine Sixteen" respectively) had been rehearsed before the tour though. "Move on" remained through the tour, save for at least one show where they played "Makin' Love" instead.
@ try to find where Paul talks about the solo albums on RUclips (audio book)... It was their managements idea and an attempt to keep Ace from leaving ... they proposed the idea of the 4 doing solo albums ... ultimately Ace left anyways ...
@@ahisupermonster yeah, but then peter criss forgot the lyrcis in beth and the world is coming over, gene also forgot a lot of lyrcis in several times, but is only catman fault😒
I am pretty shure this is one of those nights when Peter didn´t play... the image is really blurred, but that guy doesn´t look like Peter at all,..and for some "strange" reason, there is not a close image from the drummer...
I saw this tour (Dynasty) in San Francisco, Paul ran out first song to the mic tripped up on his boot, I guess and fell flat on his face. I went back a couple years ago and listened to Dynasty the whole album for the first time in 25 years it's horrible it's so bad.
when talking about KISS's musical integrity in the live setting, Gene and Paul have fucked up more (video proof) than Ace and Peter, with their missed lyrics, wrong lyrics, wrong notes, out of time ins and outs, dead notes, plinks. so i guess all the Ace and Peter fuck ups, are in shows that there is no audio or video recorded from. all the kiss concert videos i have (before the kissology series, we used to trade the KISSvision tapes amongst traders), show Gene and Paul messing up way more. the all messed up of course :)
I like the guitar playing in this clip. The drumming is substandard. Peter was diminished after the car accident in '78. The vocals are average. "Move on" is a good track. By the way I noticed that Paul forgot the lyrics for a few seconds during "Mpve on". Not good. Very interesting footage.
I love the cape. Ace's costume really stands out. Ack!
The vocal harmonies by Paul and Ace on Radioactive are great.
I think exactly the same, and Ace's solos on Move On are equally great
Radioactive !!!
And Peter 😍
space Aces solo on move on is freaking amazing
Super!
Walter Thomas If anything he got better around this time. His solos were top notch. Love this era of Ace.
Not nearly as good as Bobs. Remember he's trying to play Bob Kullicks lead. But he's but he's butchering the hell out of it.
@@whataboutrob442 What he's doing is making up for all the solos Bob did on Side 4 of ALIVE II. And owning it.
Kudos to Ace for bringing so much fire while probably being drugged out of his mind
Some of Ace’s best solo work is in this video. I love it
I love that both Gene and Paul forgot some of the lyrics to their songs! Still Killer!!!! This tour was my second time seeing KISS. I believe Uriah Heep was the warm up?
I had this on the Kiss My A** VHS.
Original lineup together for last time in dynasty.
Probably one of the last times it was played on that tour.

my love for KISS started with that VHS cassette.
I remember hearing them kick into Move On for ghe first time, and I had listened to every KISS album until this point except the solos... Imagine how stoked my 13 year old brain was
They need to be in the next What If series on the Disney plus channel, they were the hottest band in the world!!!!😅🥰⚘💕 Kiss
Got this DvD with Kissology 2. Somewhere along the way it came up missing. Such a shame because I love the Dynasty era.
Ace just f*cking destroys on Move On. ⚡
God, this is awesome. Their guitars sound great.
Great times❤
Ace is on fire on that lead. A rare thing to behold.

Space Ace is always on fire bud.
Jimmy Garvin Don’t be that guy.
yes and also from 1974 on
Space Ace is a badass! So talented!!!

They used to play one song from each solo album.
Ace made Kiss great
He was the talented one
Yes he did
Ace pinching harmonics, man what a boss Happy Thanksgiving Space Ace, Monique, Jeanette, Gene, Paul, and one and only 🐈 man, Mr Peter Criss
Paul...."You listen, you can hear, her voice is callin' from above".
anybody notice when paul moved his voice differently once or twice during the background vocals past 1:30 in radioactive? it sounded soooo good
Esos fueron sus buenos tiempos de la cuarteta Diabólica, ya quedó en la historia
You got to be the devils daughter (that line sounds soooo amazing it’s like listening to the LP lol)
Considering the sound is shit on this recoding you can still feel how kickin’ both these songs are. Ace’s solos are brilliant on both
Peter Criss: Drumming done right! Gene Simmons: Bass playing done right!
Biggest kiss tour/show ever up to that point!
They dropped "Radioactive" from the setlist pretty early in the tour.
Ace killing it
Ace on Fire !!!!
I have a custom KISS album that I made consisting of 10 songs from the solo albums.
Album Title: Radioactive
Side 1:
Tonight You Belong To Me
It's Alright
Radioactive
Rip It Out
Tunnel of Love
Side 2:
Wouldn't You Like To Know Me
Snow Blind
Burnin Up With Fever
Move On
New York Groove
Paul or gene never mention this show the rocked it
Move On is a terrific tune, too bad they dropped it from the set list after this tour!
Noah Henson Move On and NY Groove stayed, Radioactive and Tossin’ And Turnin’ were only played at this show
Mouloud Rafidoui I think "Radioactive" was played a few other times during the tour, "Tossing and turnng" may have been played some more too. those two songs and Tossin and Turnin were played at Rupp Arena in Lexington as well. I was there.
Clearly Ace was the best musician in the history of Kiss
No, Bruce Kulick, Eric Singer, Vinnie Vincent and the king of guitar.. TOMMY FUCKING THAYER
@@pepitai9978 uhhhh
upload Ace doing New York Groove
When titans roamed the earth.
Hot Dam Paul Frehley you gotta dunk your pinkies after thst solo cause there on fire bro
Ace never ever uses his pinky LOL
Ace Rocks!!!
Ace Frehley move on lead breaks no guitarist could copy
Awesome
Ace is smoking on both
Incrível
2:25 to 2:30, best moves
Man radioactive is way better with kiss live
Paul Stanley forgetting part of the lyrics during Move On
Daniel Arouchian I’ve always thought he lost his breath lol
Yeah he definitely lost his breath you can tell.
Don’t make excuses, bozos, he forgot the lyrics. It happens.
@@ahisupermonster yeah, but then peter criss forgot the lyrcis in beth and the world is coming over, gene also forgot a lot of lyrcis in several times, but is only catman fault😒
The "Super Kiss" era lol
when Kiss was a real band
yeah, they didn't talk to each other in this era.
Just like Joey and Johnny Ramone through their whole career
man thats sad
I direct that comment somewhere towards the early days. They kinda started to become a joke at this point.
I am pretty shure this is one of those nights when Peter didn´t play... the image is really blurred, but that guy doesn´t look like Peter at all,..and for some "strange" reason, there is not a close image from the drummer...
You can tell it's Peter's background vocals on Move On.
Peter is in a hurry getting the show over with :D lol
Radioactive should have been recorded by KISS.
They should’ve played “Tonight you belong to me” or “It’s All right” Instead of “Move on”.
Ace Frehley un genio a Paul se le olvidó su canción 😂
Is that Peter on drums
Yeah that is Peter. Not Eric.C
He s Peter..... Or someone else with the same make up.... 😁😁

Where do the female vocals on move on come from?
Gene has an insanely high register. Check out any of the Unmasked stuff he does background vocals on.
Its Gene, Ace , and Peter doing the "ooohs "on the slow breakdown. 3:03
If you mean original LP they were 3 female singers
Forgets the lyrics 😂
To think Ace pretty much ad-libed these solos is incredible. Sounds nothing like what was recorded on the albums.
Paul talks shit bout Peter but cant even remember lines to his own song.
Can we talk about Ace playing the wrong note at 4:21 ?
That where he got fired
You’re my food ?? My water ? Ugh.
Of course Ace's solo rescues Gene and Paul's otherwise mediocre tunes.
Фэйк
Radioactive is an horrendous song.
