I have the older AT10. Fantastic value for so many channels and functionality, has plenty of room for a beginner to grow. The 8x AA battery tray eventually got chucked away and replaced with a proper lipo and the sturdy carry handle now accommodates an Eachine 7" diversity monitor. I have several receivers, but my favourite is the small, lightweight, twin antenna R12DSM. To their credit, Radiolink have been regularly updating the firmware. My biggest beef is that it has a cheap, plasticky feel. That Futaba-style rotary dial and joystick look nice in the pics - although they work very well in real life (beats endlessly clicking menu buttons like on the Taranis X9d), the way they feel when you operate them totally betray the fact that this is a US$100 radio. Dying for a Taranis Q X7s, but that's another US$100 more, plus the cost of new receivers and it isn't without its annoyances... although it looks to be better built and the new faux carbon fiber body looks premium.

I need a 1/8 mic cable from the trainer mode to control the head tracker. Does this unit have that feature? Also, I wanted to move the thumb controls from right to left. ie. I want the elevator and ailerons to be controlled with the left thumb, and the throttle and rudder to be controlled with the right thumb. Can this unit do that?
I am having trouble to get my AT10 ii to work with a Wing aircraft. Can get ailerons to work properly but unable to make them also work as elevator. I thought i had it work once, but messed it up and unable to make it work again. Need Help!! thanks GrampaKenCanada

after connection with receiver the signal icon does not shows the signal bars in transmitter display .receiver works just fine but i cant see any signal bar and in it shows RSSI: Null any idea how to fix it?

Hello, sir. RadioLink R12DS receiver supports SBUS and PWM signal. If you want PPM signal, you can choose R12DSM, R6DS and R6DSM receivers, which support PPM and can also work with AT10II transmitter.

Hi! Thanks for the great video. Very clear and concise. I didn't notice the trim on the PRM01 voltage monitor. I have the same transmitter/receiver and am trying to set it up on the pixhawk flight controller. The pixhawk 1 uses a ppm / sbus input on the RCin port (the pixhawk sbus is output only). However, when I plug the R12DS SBUS connector into this port the pixhawk does not appear to recognize the receiver as shown by the mission planner calibration scenarios. I notice that there are 2 colours - red and blue with different channel numbers on the R12DS receiver outputs. That would indicate to me that there must be at least 2 modes on the receiver/transmitter for PWM/SBUS. I am assuming SBUS is not the default. I cant find the manual for these on the radiolink sites and as you show in your video, it doesn't come with a manual.I have a PWM to PPM encoder as a backup but I understand that SBUS is a bit more responsive and would prefer to use it - also, fewer wires and devices..Any idea how on the transmitter or receiver I can switch it to SBUS mode so that the pixhawk will respond?Cheers an thanks again.
If you go to the main emnu and select from 10Ch to 12Ch, what that will do is: in 10ch: channel 1 to 11 are PWM output in 12ch channel 2 to 12 are pwm and 12 is SBUS. But, if your flight controller only has output SBUs this won't be comparible. The R12DS doesn't have PPM. You should buy the r6ds receiver with PPM output. Keep up!
I have a Volantex Ranger 78" wingspan on the way along with a Pixhawk to begin flying FPV and am seriously considering upgrading my Spektrum DX6G2 to this AT-10 because I need way more than 6 channels and would want to use the S.Bus to connect the R10D receiver too the Pixhawk as well as using the PPM channels to control other stuff on the airplane such as a servo mounted camera, video switcher and so on. Will connecting the R10D via the S.Bus port for main flight controls and flight modes, then using PPM channels of RX for other things allow me to do this?
it appears after going back and looking, the R10D RX doesn't have the S.Bus output like the R12D RX so I will have to purchase the R12D separately since the radio I am looking at purchasing only comes with the R10D RX. But still want to use it in the manner described in my previous comment too the Pixhawk for fixed wing FPV flying.
Actually, the RD12S is the most advanced - so - kept up. Also, I finally found out how to switch it to SBUS. Holding the reset button for a few seconds on power on changes the LED from red to red+blue=purple to enable SBUS on the receiver. The PIXHAWK works automatically with SBUS or PPM. PPM was my backup with the external converter. But I'm good, thanks for the reply.

I have flown JR radios for years but I am still flying 72mhz. I am thinking seriously about buying this radio. How does it compare to JR and Futaba radios?

Hello there. I have a new AT10ii and R12DS system yet. I bought it for my plane with nitro engine. I do not have an ESC. (no esc). I have one 2s 7.4v battery and one UBEC 6v device. How can I connect this battery to the R12DS receiver. from which port I will connect. Do I need to use UBEC 6v? will the 2s7.4v battery work on my connection? I will connect the battery to which channel. I will connect to which channel the numbers are formed with red color. Would you mark me with a photo and attach it to the message? Please.
