I bought the same oil catch pan, but I don't have a concrete pad just gravel. So I replaced the back wheels trying lawn mower wheels but they kept getting stuck as well. Than opted to try 6" air tires and rims from Harbor freight and 3" casters for the fronts. NOW it goes anywhere. Grass, dirt, mud, rocks anywhere. Just like a kids little red wagon with air tires.
@@bradgifford3122 I solved that predicament as well . I put a 1/2" ball valve and 1/2" dia 12" L copper tube on the end. Didn't have any stainless. Worked with what I got.
When orings used like that one, use rtv silicon on it, especially when coolant is involved, silicone hills gaps n sticks it in. Works good on weather strip also, not impossible to remove!! Keep on keeping on
I’m getting ready to do the clutch on my 2755 it’ll be the 4th one in about 20 years of owning it I’ve had that tractor all torn many times over the years one thing I learned when you go to split that tractor LEAVE THE LOADER ON!! makes the job easier sounds backwards but trust me the loader perfectly balances the front end of the tractor and it’s not really in the way of anything you need to get to in order to split it and do the clutch
Are you missing the cab filter? Looked like corn leaves from shredding. We had a white board in the shop ad would list all the "when we get time" projects on it so in the winter when all the equipment was brought in for maintenance we would remember the little problems that would crop up during the year.
It's lots of fun farming with these older tractors. That oil drain pan looks very handy. As long as it's a tacky grease without grit in it it's better than nothing
I just use a paint pen and write on the filter the month and year and hours it was changed. Then you can just look at the filter and know when it was done.
With the super 77 you should wait for awhile before putting back together spray both sides and let dry before sticking together we glue our laminate tops back on desks at the school i work at works great
You have to vents on each side of the cab and that's how all that stuff is getting in there l usually blow it out on our 4960& newer John Deere tractors....
And also, something to think about, if you pour concrete in your work shop, you might want to put a drain in that last bay to have a wash area in the winter ,it wont cost a $100 bucks,
Those loaders are so EASY and quick to remove and re-attach , you should take it off more often as it takes ALOT of weight off your front end , and hence wear and tear on front end when doing field work, eg: stalk shredding !! ....its alot easier than rebuilding your front end bushes ,,,, ask me how I know !!!....just a suggestion :)
That makes alot of sense so when I need to push a tree out of the field or moving something as I'm stalk shredding I'll just come back another time with the loader on... pretty much all this tractor does is loader work so taking it off would be pointless
I bought their bigger mag drill that does 2 inch capacity with the variable speed forward and reverse with the quick change I like it a lot I just wish that they had the quick change annular cutters in standard size and that you could actually get them
Not sure about that tractor but should be a vent plug for the hydraulic system that mite be blocked causing that. I would love to have a bolt set up like diesel creek ( can't remember the company) but I don't have the room or use for the expense. I went to harbor freight and bought a wall mount bin and go to tractor supply and buy bulk of what I need. I'm 20 miles from any auto parts or hardware
Hey Duffy I think I have a shallow mount single din stereo with Bluetooth and speakers around here somewhere brand new in the box that would work well for one of your vehicles maybe even the 2755 but I don’t remember where to send it or if you have even mentioned where to send mail to you.
FehrCab Interiors has that piece for around 80 bucks. I use only jd oil and filters and EP grease for loader pins and regular grease on everything else. Maybe price a 55 gallon barrel of oil from JD
John deere farms there oil out to be made by other oil companies, just like Case does. All you need is an oil that meets the required standards. Paying more for deere oil is ludicrous unless you want to keep warranty happy.
I quit using rotella 15/40 years ago. I had a tractor serviced while it was in the shop and it was running when we noticed the filter hadn’t been changed. Things happen! It hadn’t been running maybe 10 min. They pulled the plug and that shit ran out like water. It wasn’t even up to operating temp because I looked. I’m not saying it’s a bad oil, it’s just not for me. Switched to a 15/50 from another brand and have t used anything since. I also haven’t had to overhaul an engine since that happened back in 2008. Imagine that.
@@sodbuster518able oldest tractor I have is a 4440, newest is 8R410. I have used the same weight oil since I switched in 2008. I have two 2006 379 with acert, I use the same oil. I won’t ever buy another new truck.
That's how warm oil runs.... just because the coolant temp wasn't all the way up doesn't mean the oil wasn't warm. That's a dumb reason imo to diss Rotella.

What happens to the oil in the hose when you shut the pump off and the hose inadvertently falls on the ground?

I like the new intro. Last year's felt more epic but I think it was because of the new farm. Thanks for letting us ride along Duffy.
Its best if you put the adhesive spray on both surfaces
That's what I did for the headliner in my 2-105 White. Wirked
And let it dry till tacky. Just read the instructions. In my experience the way he did it should not hold.
Lucas Red and Tackey was always my go to grease for stuff. It was really good, but very expensive.

Add latches to the list for the shop doors before the wind blows the doors off in a storm. Keep up the good work
Starting an officially new chapter. 2024
That tractor reminds me of the 3020's, good, durable workhorses

Put in flore heat in the floor when you do it is well worth to little extra I hate I did not do it in my main shop when I done it

Any horigan loves that product.
Might wanna check vent on trans, could be pluged or pinched. Could be why keeps popping out!
For tunes you could always run the same speaker that's in the white truck
Take the o-ring with you to local hardware store, match it up and put in on the cap. You'll pay at least 10x more than that at Deere dealer.

Gotta wonder if Vevor has an O-ring kit?
Lol I know someone who did start a brand new tractor with NO oil in it whoops 😂 also great work buddy as always great content 👍
It would be nice to have shop with concrete floor to work on
What’s up with the lights is it the power company
Just a thought but try calling concrete company about buying or giving them a place to empty the drums
Totally didn’t notice sucking up the mouse lol
I sale and use cen-pro greaser. Just in my shop 500 tubes of greaser for semi to dozers and tractor.
Put a handful of dryer sheets in there and mice won’t go in
Add some VHB Tape to have one hand. 👍
How do you track engine hours if the tachometer doesn't work?
you can get a sheet of 4x8 whiteboard cheaper that fancy whiteboards. Home depot
do you change the fuel filters at oil changes
Bet the ac condenser is plugged full up in the roof 😢
Lol 100%!
That would be called the evaporator up under the roof ,condenser is in front of the radiator.

You thought maybe get yourself a m international to power the silage blower and your future grain auger to fill your future grain bins
You should take the loader off once in awhile or it might get stuck on their I've seen that happen
I have a ten year old NH T6 that the loader has never been off since it arrived here new!.... but its highly unlikely that its stuck on.

They need to get you a tool box🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now, is it an Extendo-Rod or Pokey-Stik? How does Vevor list it? Lol
Moth balls or Bounce dryer sheets in the cabs for mice.....
Damn mice, bounce fabric sheets.
Texas Refinery Corp Paragon 3000 grease, you’ll thank me later
Why doesn't the tach work on the tractor?

Shop hydro really flickered at 13:40 mark
Is Vevor a USA company or chinese ? I think we all know!!
You just need a marker pen why not use the side sheet of the shed to write on !
I like the others intro better
You should ask Andy hourigan at what he uses for maintenance records on his computer
Andy has said in the past but he just uses a label maker and puts it in the window for oil changes
