Has anybody asked: when I open the door the pump primes, but when I turn the ignition key it primes again. I know this because having a non-challenge car but a challenge TCU, my car will not start until the secondary priming is done, as the challenge TCU requires higher pump pressures to let the car start. So, does opening the door allow the pump to prime sufficiently?
What fluid should I add? I have about 1mm when system is fully primed. I’m having issues with F1 where when it’s cold it won’t shift 2nd to 3rd, you can hear it’s trying to shift up but it won’t go in gear and switches to N. I would have to stop and shift to 1st. When I drive it for a while it will shift to 3rd but not to 4th and so on. After driving for a while everything goes to normal. I believe it all started happening after my battery started dying just replaced it with a new one. Your advise would be appreciated. Thanks.
James I use shell spiral S4 atf hex. New name for Donax TX. This sounds like it might be due to a sensor but I would start with adding some fluid, turning the battery disconnect off so no power is going to the car. Wait at least 10 mins, I just leave it off over night. Turn the switch back on for power and do a reset procedure for the car. This involves turning the key to on, not starting the car, and letting it sit for 30 secs. This recalibrated the ECU.
@@chromehearts5791 Hey James, I remember seeing a video from another RUclipsr that if I remember correctly, had a similar problem as you. Battery crapped out, and once he replaced it, and did what John Engel suggested (re-calibrating ECU) the problem went away.
It just looks like you have the wrong offset and a bunch of fender gap. Take a look at Dan Hurbert's 430 on Normal Guy Super car.... his car looks really nice with the rims that he has. Just a suggestion... if you like it the way it is then it's fine.
Perfect !! Good afternoon after I complete how do I turn off the panel light?
If it was just low on fluid then the light will go off automatically.
Hi John
Where can I get a F430 brake pump from? Thanks

@@kaj750 this is a great question. I look forward to any answers.
Thanks John
Does this make checking the F1 fluid the easiest thing to service on the F430?
LOL, I think it does. The video took longer to make than to check the fluid level. LOL
So what should be the correct level? 2mm above finger nail?
James it should be 2mm high. This is about the hight of the average fingernail. So it should only be a fingernail high.

What's the name of the transmission fluid again?
Michael Hollimon Shell Dextron 3.
@@JohnEngel what about Peak Dexron III ? And where did you buy yours at ?
Michael Hollimon as far as I understand any dexron 3 will work. I ordered mine from ricambi.

Tutela CS Speed”
maybe this liquid should be used, as in Maserati and Alfa Romeo?
A common mistake when using Dextron in this transmission
The correct fluid for the F1 is Shell Spirax S4 ATF HDX
That’s a mouth full. Lmao
Did it feel like warm apple pie?
Brandon O. Lol. It was very very nice. I’m just glad I turned off the camera. Lmao
Hey Thanks for the vid!
No problem. I was looking for this info and figured a video would be helpful. :)
Maybe you meant two centimetres? You said millimeters which is an extremely small length. That would almost be un measurable with the finger method.
Exactly. Thank you. I miss spoke. I should have just kept with a fingernail. Lol
@@JohnEngel no problem. Thanks for the help
You've gotta do something about those rims on that 430 bro.... they don't look right.
Fred Daniali no way. I love them. I think the stock rims look bad. What would you suggest?
