Hardest tree job of my life, at least I got to see Randy with no shirt. ❤
Haha 😂 nice job Lucas 👍🏼
Living the dream! Good job.
If Randy the Mandy doesn't give this comment some ❤, I'll be very sad...😂👍🪓🇦🇺
😂😂😂😂
Great job Lucas.
It gets easier as you sculpt your body like Randy.
😜
Broooooo Randy called it, you now have a tree service!!!!!!! Congrats!!! This better not mean less Randy or I'll cry.
I'm sure some jobs require two tree services :)
^ I second that emotion
1 million subscribers and 759 million views in just over two years , you're doing something right Jacob !
Lets goooo brooooo.
Thanks!
Awesome, so glad you were able to keep your friend Randy to assist you, y’all make a good team!
Yeah I love working with Randy!
@@GuiltyofTreesonWe love watching you work with Randy too!
Randy's are awesome.
Signed: Randy
Happy for ya man, your videos back when you still worked for "the other company" are what inspired me to get into tree work, and now 3 years later ive moved from California to Arkansas and am running my own company and contract climbing on the side. Awesome to see your journey and use it as motivation for my own 🤘🤘
That's awesome 👏
Randy is hurting because he is over working himself with setting up snappy supplies lol. You guys are a soild duo and should just fully team up! And congrats on 1 Million Jake thats absolutely amazing you deserve it!
Love working with Randy!
Congrats! You have never given up! I wish you well. You are an inspiration.
Jacob, I have followed you for the past 3 years, and you should be proud of yourself. I know as a husband and father myself who learned about the arborist life seemingly to late in my professional career in my 40s, your wife and kids are proud of you, and the decisions you have made to step out on your own were the right ones. May the Lord bless your endeavors, and keep you safe. You continue to inspire, educate, and entertain. Thank you.
1 MILLION SUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude!!! Your story is such an inspiration. I am working on finishing my first video for my channel thanks to your example. That chainsaw ASMR video was genius!!!!! I literally laughed out loud.
Keep going!!!!!
Next : 2 Million subs!
My boy started watching you when he was probably a year old. Definitely back at your old channel still. He's four now. We allow RUclips a few hours a week. He still picks your videos to watch.
That's awesome! Thanks for watching!
Brother I'm super excited for you. The tree service is more stable than RUclips. Two incomes are better than one. You got this. You can advertise without paying and give advice on everything else arborist related. Very well rounded system.
Jake! You are killing it bro! One million subscribers and your own tree service company! Truck and all! So happy for you!
Thank you!
Take care of Randy......he is an asset and this is his profession also. Maybe another trip to Florida for an R&R. He really seemed to enjoy it. We love him and you. Take care... Be safe
Outstanding…..you will do great….you will enjoy working for yourself…I’ve been watching you for several years
On top of everything else, you just hit 1,000,000 subscribers after just over 2 years. CONGRATS!!! 😎
🎉🎊 CONGRATULATIONS Jacob from Baton Rouge, Louisiana! 🎊🎉 I'm so excited for you. Tell Randy to take good care of his knees from someone who knows 😂😢😅😊
A friend brought a similar truck up to our new property last weekend and it was epic! We'd pull in nose first and limb up ~40ft with the bucket and I'd pile limbs to the side as he cut. Then we'd turn the truck around and I'd chip those limbs while he geared up to climb and then drag those limbs as he dropped them, then drive the truck out and use it as the anchor or pull rig to take tops down and additional sections of the trunks if needed. Then back it up to the pile once he was back on the ground and we'd chip limbs and buck rounds in place. Got through a few big doug firs in a weekend and was stoked on how much we got done!
I love to see a man build a small, successful business. Congrats man!
Seeing your progression is awesome. It also gives me so much hope. I started working for myself full-time. I'm still in the adolescent years of my tree service, building cliental. Still getting everything I need. I have the basics like ropes, saddle, spurs, throw ball, climbing saw but I'm still getting everything else I need. Awesome progression my man
A crazy old lawn guy congratulates you. You guys show up and fix my weekly customers properties. Means more to guys like me than the customer. Love the show, sir.
Ok this will sound stupid but I left a long lanyard on my saw with black and red tape. Black tape line was 16 and red tape line was 20. I say the saw on the top of the cut as I moved down and the tape lines marked my cuts for me. Seemed super efficient at that time
Well it sounded stupid to me until it dawned on me you were talking about inches and not feet.(my first language is metric lol)
@@stusue9733lol. No worries. I'll admit I'm not well versed in the metric system until I have to fix my truck. I should have denoted my measurements. 16 inches and 20 inches. I'm sorry brother. I climbed solo. This was an easy reference for what the customer wanted. I'd move the tape when needed but 95 percent of what I cut was those measurements so I left them. I added green for custom cuts. Hope you have a great day bro.
Being a German living in thenUS, I still thought that too 😂
Yess!!! Awesome! Congratulations Jake, absolutely fantastic 🎉 really looking forward to this!🎉🎉
Good for you. I hope you do well enough with this truck that it pays for a new truck.
Yes! You totally deserve to have the tools you want to use I’m looking forward to seeing what you can do with the great rig
That battery clip is so funny. As someone who is just now learning all the knots after being a ground guy for 4-5 years, can’t congratulate you enough can’t wait to see more videos of you and the crew stay safe boys!
I really like the battery chainsaws as they’re more environmentally friendly and less noisy than the petrol chainsaws.
Congrats on the new business Jacob! It’s been fun watching you grow these past couple of years
Really proud of you and I'm happy that we've been here since the almost beginning. You have been a real inspiration. Thanks for hanging in there and thanks for sharing this bit of your life and adventure with us.
Thanks for watching!
here is one for all of you studs. when you put those spikes into the tree to climb, when you cut it for fire wood, do the holes make the wood burn more or less,
So proud of you Jake. Well deserved and to be your own boss is phenomenal. Good things come to good people. Things happen for a reason to Treeson. Whoop whoop.
I dont know how to even start this comment off other than im typing this from my work truck and i just wanna say i appreciate everything you do and all the videos you make there some of the greatest arborist videos ever and me and my wife enjoy a late night watch of the new videos you upload and i as i said big thanks to you for that and i wanna thank gordy/Westcoast saw for all the stuff hes made. I appreciate that!
1 MILLION SUBS?!?! when did that happen! congrats Jake!!!
Yesterday :)
POOP FREE? Great video. After I got out of the Army I worked for a huge tree company that was based out of Fairfax, VA. The company name is J L Tree Service. Owned by a man named John Lewett. One of the best companies I ever worked for. He ran 8 crews that did the tree work. 4 bucket trucks, and 4 just straight climbing trucks. They had 10 chippers so that each crew had one and there was always spare chippers ready. He had two crews that did nothing but grind stumps. He also had two cranes that did the heavy lifting for the crews. He wasted nothing. He sold logs, fire wood, and chips. Now for the poop chips. We were on this job and the chip box was full. Each crew had an on going list of places and customers that would take chips. It just worked out that given our job location that our load of chips was going to a rather large Catholic Church. Two days passed and that afternoon we finished out the day and went to the yard to refuel everything for the next day. The crew chief was called into the office because someone from the church called and complained about the "soiled wood chips." Maybe some truck builder will come out with a truck with it's own Jonny On The Spot. Keep up the good work.
Jacob, we all knew you would be owning a tree service. Congrats on the new chapter of your life.
Appreciate it!
Let's goooo! You're going to kill it. Most knowledgeable, hardest working and down to earth guy on RUclips. Not sure why, but there's nothing I'd rather do after a long day building homes than to watch you do your thing! Be safe out there, we'll be watching!
That’s awesome there is no stopping you now. Sometimes a bad thing turns into a good thing. Maybe on day you will be bigger than your former company. Then the laugh is on them.
So happy for you Homie. Congratulations
Been following you for a while before you left east side. Glad to see you moving up. Congrats on hitting a million subs.
Thank you!
i just learned why my speedcut nano from a month ago just arrived today haha i was watching this video and right after you explained lucas had been working with you, the package landed on my porch. what are the odds? i love it when God does stuff like that. i had thought i just forgot to order it. Snappy Supplies wouldve gotten it here sooner i guess. Next time. Thank you guys for the bonus carabiner too, that was a really awesome surprise to find in the box. big smiles, much gratitude.
Congratulations on you new venture, you’ve worked hard and made all the right steps, much success to you!
Congratulations Jacob! I was wondering if you were ever going to go down this path. It kind of makes sense to keep your options open in this field of work. Plus, you are very talented/gifted with an ability to communicate/show us non arborist what is involved in this line of work. I’ve enjoyed watching you work! I’ve learned quite a bit from watching your very educational videos. Thank you for always sharing with all of us! Good luck Jacob!
Damn jed would be proud brother, you and him would be a whole crew together!!
Great job, now you own a tree service, you are the boss, treat your boys right...
Right! Best advice right there. If you do that as a boss, you will rarely be hiring instead of constantly hiring and training. 😊
Congratulations man. Here since day one. Unbelievably proud of you. Absolutely ineffable❤️
Congrats Jacob. That's great news. Stay safe out there.
Congratulations!! Yeah, I'm workijg for Davey right now, but always dreamed of owning my own business... The company benefits are immensely good, and they are teaching me everything
I've always loved how calm, confident and *comfortable* you are on them skinny pecker pole tops. Shit you don't even extra wrap your lanyard or anything! Congratulations on all the work. These will be the most fun times of owning your own business
Dude the wife, kids, and I need a mini vacation. I wanna climb one of them tall boys. All the trees here are sprawly as hell lol. Congratulations on all of the success you have had man! The American dream!
Growing the business to suite the needs look forward to see how things are 1 year from now keep up the good work.
Congratulations on the purchase and hope you get to use it a lot, but Randy has to help ! I enjoy seeing you guys work together!
You are on the right track. Small businesses are a lot of work. You seem to have your head on right so go for it.
Yes! Thanks!
Great that you took the "plunge" and have your own operation. I love your videos - always teaching. Keep up the good and safe work brother!
Jake, you have accumulated much tree knowledge as well a developed a business sense so you were able to buy the truck and chipper. Good for you!!! Blessings to you, Jake.
Well done 😊 Greetings from Norway 😊
And I quote, "Im not starting a tree service, im a contract climber."
Hell yeah man, congratulations!! Movin' on up. You don't know me from the next guy but I just wanted to say I'm proud of you. You're doing awesome. Probably doesn't mean much coming from a stranger, just thought I'd let you know. Keep it up.🤙
It means a lot to me actually ❤️ thank you so much
@@GuiltyofTreeson that's awesome.
Good to see the channel up to 1 million subscribingtons
Jacob congrats on your success! You basically ran a Tree Service for the other folks who tried to take your channel. I look forward to the day when you have ten trucks, cranes, and crews. I'm glad I bought my GOT Hoodie when I did last year, as it's time to buy Christmas presents.
its the definition of doing what you love. It doesnt really feel like "work" and tree work specifically I find to be very fulfilling
company ive been working for all season was kind enough to lend me some old buckinghams and an old bench style harness. being single tied in a hardness and lanyard from 1991 put a new perspective on fear for me the last couple weeks as ive been regaining my so to speak "sealegs" on a few of the dead white oaks around my property lol
Great job Jacob! Happy to have shared this journey with you. Tell Randy he is in our prayers for healing. Keep up the good work.
Thanks!
Life’s a garden. Dig it. You just got to keep on keeping on.
I have only been watching for about 3 months now and I am digging it👍. And awesome job on the tree service now.
Thanks 👍
The Lord has certainly blessed you. Excited for you!!
Yooo!!!! I’m so excited for you!!! That’s what I’m talking about I’ve always been rooting for you!
Best of luck with the new truck!
The name of your channel is what caught my attention, it’s a great name for a tree service. I will look sick on the dump bed of the bucket truck. Congratulations
Thanks for the input!
Should sell a few different Hawaiian shirts on sappy, gimmick might work. You are such a great person to watch and listen to do tree work, very knowledgeable and informative. Talented man with a chainsaw. Wishes to you of success and prosperity.
Working on it!
Just saw Hawaiian shirt merch drop!! Yeah buddy!!
I see you're at 1 million subs! Still gonna fulfill that promise for Uncle Pat?!? Love having you out on the East Coast! Lots has changed at Shreiner!
😅
Very cool. Good for you Jake!
Good for You! Don’t need brand new equipment when You’re just getting started in your own business!
So proud of you pal keep it up as you inspired me to do tree work
Very nice brother... awesome work getting there and buying the equipment. It's surely rough getting there. Great looking equipment! Well done!
Congratulations on your new venture!! I hope you enjoy tremendous success!! I also hope you come to understand that "No homo" is so unnecessary. Best of luck!
Awesome work brother!!
inspiring to see, as an upcoming tree 🌳 specialist my self 💪 just got my truck, chainsaw and climbing gear. Keep up the good work
Congratulations on your tree service company. Good luck and stay safe.

Congratulations on the new equipment and starting your business. On to bigger and better business. This 77 year old lady loves watching all you do. My next life will find me in the trees. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!
Hi Jake, Best new ground man safety indoc "If my rope goes into the chipper I will die". Priceless.
Lol. The SPARKS story was awesome. There is a reason I am 20 years sober. SPARKS was my favorite. I did some stupid shit when I was younger.
3:00 in (lost my youtube channel) Well I went back and looked and it had 277K subscribers as of 2 years ago; AND NOW YOU HAVE A M I L L I O N (1,000,000) SUBSCRIBERS, so WE ALL THINK YOUR DOING PRETTY FRICKIN GOOD JAKE!
Many Cheers Jake! Very happy for you and your future!
Awesome! Congratulations, you deserve a great future. Hard work pays off. Would go to the USA from South Africa just to do one job with you. Let's make it happen!
Once again another awesome video you should really consider just a full video of the groundsman that would be really interesting in my opinion
crazy to see 11 months later u have new dump truck new chipper and 2 employees
Awesome job Jake, as a fellow business owner it is fun to run a company but also a lot of work. Keep up the good content, and god bless.
God bless you too!
Congratulations on the new equipment! It’s crazy to watch your growth as a RUclips channel, and as a company. You’ve come a long way, thanks for sharing for all these years.
Thanks for watching!
Congratulations 😍 good luck with the new start of your company💪
Bro. Don't get sloppy with your safety. Now more than ever your family needs you.
Congratulations on 1million subs and the truck and chipper. Looks like things are going great for you my man, you seem like a really good and hard working dude. You deserve it. Ive been watching since early on at the other company lol. Really cool to see you grow so much and be an inspiration to so many including myself!!
Using your skills, and hard work always pays off. Congratulations on your success, it makes me glad to see.
Jacob, I really love your videos. I'm not in the industry and don't do a whole lot of cutting, so I can't immediately apply what I learned so far from you. Just really thanks man. I'm absolutely fascinated with your work. Best of luck to you in the new venture!
This made me so happy. Congratulations man you look so much happier now. This is the way ❤️
not sure what randys injuries are from but i know what he feels like dealing with knee pain. im a concrete finisher and the first 8 yrs i never wore kneepad and now in my 29th yr in finishing concrete and 3 months from turning 50 yrs old, knee pain has been a constant companion for since 8/7/08. thats the day my knees started pounding and hurting and hasnt stopped. i have good days and bad days. ive tried different medications and therapies and nothing really worked. docs say i need knee replacements but they wont do that unless i quit concrete.
looks like surgerys going to have to wait because i love my job too much too quit. im one of those "walk it off and suck it up" kinda guys. pain just lets you know your alive. :)
randy, im sure you found what helps you with your bad days. for me, its diversion. i find things to do that take focus and attention when im not working. i work on small engine stuff. i buy rough running equipment, get it running good and flip it. not so much for the cash but just to keep my mind on something else besides the pounding and crushing pain in my knees. it works most of the time but theres those days where im in my chair with ibuprofen, a heating pad and a laptop because those days staying still is the best medicine.
congrats bro. all that hard work is paying off.
