"Open Bar Reception" performed by Jimmy Eat World. Released on Oct.16, 2007* as a bonus track on their "Chase This Light" album, through digital download*.
* I am unsure of the actual means of release of this song, though from what little I have heard it was only available via download through certain providers, making it a bit of a rarity.
Regardless of how this song was actually released, it's become one of my most listened to / favorites of this past year, after I completely failed to notice it's existence in my original album download all those many years ago. Most likely my favorite JEW track to boot.

Yeah I was thinking that as well, which isn’t to say that I only have unoriginal thoughts, but I did notice that too. Do you like either track more?

​@@sonar3852It's hard to choose since they kind of evoke different moods for me. This one definitely has a more sentimental tone to it which matches its lyrics better, but Always Be is pretty catchy!

@@juicelychee8692 this song is relatively new to me so I might be biased, but I do like the mood it gives more than Always Be. Also I like how you can hear Jim enunciate the t in “don’t” twice in a row. Quaint little detail.

@@sonar3852 lot of respect for bands who don't cut the harmonies exactly to the millisecond, it sounds way more authentic when you hear the 't' imperfectly overdubbed and as you say adds a little layer to the song.

yeah it is really annoying, but I can hear it on every version of this song unfortunately
