  • "I'm Thinking", a song written for and released on the 2004 collaboration album "Rock Against Bush Vol.2", by "Autopilot Off".
This punk-rock band has produced quite a few really good, high-pace songs in their day, though because this one was put on a collab. album, it was really overlooked more so than it deserved. Easily my favorite APO track.
    Lyrics:
I'm thinking bout the times we knew it all
And how we used to feel invincible
We ran so fast we never thought we'd fall
I'm thinking bout the times we knew it all
    It never got too late
We stayed up 'til the early morning
We swore we'd stay the same
We'd never let ourselves get boring
I'm thinking bout the times we knew it all
And how we used to feel invincible
    Tough bill to swallow down
There's nothing that could prepare me
And so look on forever now
    I've never felt more temporary
I'm thinking bout the times we knew it all
And how we used to feel invincible
We ran so fast we never thought we'd fall
I'm thinking bout the times we knew it all

Probably my vote for the best song on the entire series.

    대한항공 스타리그 시즌2 경기후 배경음악.
    스폰에 걸맞게 하늘을 나는듯한 사운드
    막 활주로에 도착한 비행기같은 느낌

"I've never felt more temporary" really hit me a few years ago, tbh listening it to now I still kinda feel it. The line before it "so look on forever now" the two lines really contrast each other, like you want them to know how you're feeling but you're already gone to them. It is a indeed "a tough pill to swallow down"

Their audio engineer screwed them over, I swear. No equipment I can think of could have captured their sound properly.
It's not just distortion; everything is clipping, and the bass is all washed out.
These guys are talented; they just didn't get a fair shake, I don't think.
      Fucked up & sad.

Might someone be able to explain why this isn’t on Apple Music?

I don't think it's anywhere online. It was a limited two-volume release by Fat Wreck Chords during the run-up to the '04 election to oppose George W. Bush's re-election. Didn't work. But the music was fantastic!
