Welcome to another review/guide/thing? This time around I had the dilemna of wanting to mug off every facet of Deceive inc but also held back because I love the game and don't want people to think bad of it. Hope you enjoyed the vid as I'm still working out what works for me and my squeaker :)
Ngl editing and commentary is great. With your skills in animation in my opinion you should use your mascot as a puppet to add more expression to the videos. Just have em do simple movements and green screen him in. Since it doesn't have a mouth ( i think) all you'd need is hands eyes and head movements alla FunkE or modern noodle. Just an idea because i love the look of the boot dude.
@@fripfrop_ see that's the thing. Ive been on this website forever. FunkE started out as a tf2 animator. You started as a dbd animator. Not to sound condescending, but all those hundreds of hours you put into those memes you could transfer / continue into animating your own character to narrate these videos, instead of moving on from all that hard work you put into learning that. Yes your last 2 vids have cleaner editing but you're genuinely funny and you should use your acquired skills to your advantage. A blender model would cost 200-800$ but in the long run, just think about it. Only have this perspective bc im trying to make videos on a different account too and i truly think you have the spark to make videos like we both love.
On the topic of Hans being the worst, I think it partly did come from 2 months or so ago when he had atrocious weapon damage fall off. According to a dev comment in the steam forums, apparently he is actually middle of the pack with his stats and I am starting to see him more and more often. I have been playing him a decent amount for a while now and having everyone at mastery 10, I have to say he feels among the deadliest if you play it smart. He can still die and shield umbrella is mandatory to be able to run away when someone shoots you from afar, but he is stupidly good at basically all stages of the game.
And don’t forget that Hans is the only agent that can reliably ruin the day of Larcin and Chavez players, stripping away any bs that they possess. And oh man is it good to punish yet another “mastermind” Larcin main with a 12 gauge to the face 😂
Boi forgot to mention this is not a spy game with an fps game as side quest. N O. Its the other way round٫ its an fps game with a spy game as a side quest
you are right but would be nice to see more of the spy-in'. Tbh I didn't want to start the vid off with another 'hey yeah look another fps game' so I switched narratives a tad
How does this game qualify as social deduction??? The objective of the game is to exfiltrate with THE objective, not kill everyone or take out the fella who can kill (except that's what the game usually boils down to lol). It's a shooter with stealth elements, even though i wish it was a stealth game first, shooter second.

Amongst the thousands of edits, he managed to even add a Jamiroquai - Virtual Insanity edit. Good stuff.
This feels like a game that could 100% have some DLC that lets you play as Spy from TF2.

That could be a follow-up saved for when custom games are out. Since at that point it should be more polished

Thanks, and man I'd love to do a funke style. Out of all the animations on youtube I find his to be most impressive and visually gorgeous
