pd maps have so much room when it comes to map lore. people play ctf as a team deathmatch gamemode so i don't understand why player destruction, based on that concept, isn't getting much love

oh hey, that demo at around 6:55 was me, it was like my second time playing, everyone had just been messing around that round, especially the heavies with the tickle gloves, so i never shot any heavies on sight. i had assumed that medkits have a large enough hitbox to just pick up through someone, realised a second later that that is in fact not true, didn't know crouch jumps were a thing as it's basically my first source game, and then i just pittered off in embarassment of getting stuck on the rail.

was pretty obvious though but yeah you can "detect" them that way... at least if they dont wear glasses

As somebody who just started playing TF2 two days ago (currently at the time I’m writing this) and with Engineer being one of my most played classes I love Engie nests, i just like hanging out with other Engineers as the sentries murder everybody on sight.

This made me realize that TF2 could probably support a vehicle like this being used as an equip-able weapon with some clever programming, since it's possible to make taunts deal damage.

You can tell by the eyes. Disguised spys always have eyes devoid of emotion, and are always wide-eyed

What? Am I the only one getting at least 2 Sniper bots every match? I constantly have to deal with the "Omegatronic" bots...

@@bones384 Odd that I haven't had Omegatronic. Instead, I had: the "UNINSTALL TF2" ones, the regular bots, and a handful of Bible Bots (the latter, depending on the nature of the bot, I don't complain about so much.)

at one point everyone in the summer update just stopped fighting to see the SEEL! SEEL OUR LOVLEY BOY WHO WAS TAKEN AWAY AT THE END
Part of me is sad we didn't see any balance changes with this update, but doing to would have required balance testing, which would require gathering enough Valve employees to play a bunch of games.
That COULD be solved by implementing some sort of official balance-testing server, though. Like one that automatically gathered player data, allowing a single employee to see which weapons are underperforming compared to others. From there they could tweak stats, wait a few days, then check the results.
