Stunning footage shows rare hybrid solar eclipse for first time in 10 years

- A RARE solar eclipse has left viewers stunned as it cast a 40kilometre shadow over a remote town in Australia.
This particular celestial event is known as a 'hybrid' eclipse, which occurs only a handful of times per century.
The sky over Exmouth in Western Australia turned dark for around a minute on Thursday, when the Moon cast a 40km-wide shadow over the area.
A hybrid eclipse is when parts of the world can see either an annular eclipse or a total eclipse.
Partial eclipses were also visible across other parts of the Asia-Pacific.

That is still something on my bucket list to see it in real life myself.
Same, my parents didn’t get me glasses during the one in eastern America quite a few years ago, so even though it was perfect where I was they wouldn’t let me use theyre glasses because they wanted to watch it… (wouldn’t even let me borrow them for a few seconds :(

its because since the moon is unlit from our perspective, it is practically invisible in the daytime sky because of the light from the sun outshining any earthshine

Why people connecting every astronomical events to the their god ? Its just an astronomical event , eclipses are happening long before, before even humans existence, before even quran and other books were written! This is just pure physics and science why pray to god LOL
