Now just imagine 200 stops, 280 locations and 500 packages. Stepvan that is 130 degrees and when it is 110 out. Yep sucks to be us.
Yup! Can’t do that anymore…..my old dsp/amazon wore me out!
My dsp experience has terrible. Had me in the sticks, load up was at noon so we burned so much daylight in the later months, and the vans were poorly maintained/ we had to sit 6+ hours when there were issues.
They have some luggage carriers that might help. They fold apart Matt I'm glad u still going. Keep going Matt 💪 and hi Matt's girlfriend

Yes. I signed up for flex a few years ago, and decided while I’m looking for another job, I will do flex on the side until then.
It was rough but 10x better than doing a full route with 150 plus stops. Lmao 🤣
@@matthewp9740 ok cool. I am currently working at Amazon flex too but as a package sorter not a driver. It is definitely not as bad as working at a big warehouse.

The employee that work at amazon that you pick packages from wasn't paying attention and put those packages in wrong area. It has happened to me I just returned them that same day or next morning if I got another block. On your app it should show the customer name and type packages your suppose to drop off. I usually separate my packages for example all my boxes go in my trunk so it's easier for me to type packages I need to delivered.

My first day was a whole foods block. I had quit my dsp that morning right before loading because I had already complained about how late in the day we started, and when I got there, dispatch told me we were starting 45 minutes later. I laughed and said yall starting then... I'm done. I had the flex block before I left the parking lot and the stops were all on my way home. It worked out perfectly.
when you were with amazon were you able to use some type of trolly or cart ? you still doing amazon flex?
Great side hustle, terrible full time job. My first day was a bit difficult bc it was cold and I was shaking when scanning but I finished my route on time.
Just did another one today. It took me to a business in the middle of my route with a minute to spare lmao 🤣 now I have to bring them back to the station.

Nice! Best of luck! She doesn’t work at FedEx anymore because of her pregnancy, but she plans on possibly returning when everything is done.

@@matthewp9740 we had a high turnover. I was there for 8 months due to over working myself to make up for the people who resigned (things changed a lot there my former co workers told me)
Does Amazon give you a Amazon vest once you start shift?
Yup just ask them for one.
I was about to sign up for this job just to try it out....I turned to the dark side instead....i.e. I turned away.
