I am with FedEx Ground, not Express. I do around 200 stops per day (350 during peak), and unlike you guys, I get everyone's Chewy boxes and furniture, lol. It's a hard job. It works well for me, and I have been doing it for years, but I am extremely introverted and have the right build to lift 150-lb packages on my shoulder. We do deliveries and pickups.

they fired me on the spot in my 2nd week they said its a first tier infraction for leaving my door open at the hub with keys in the car while I went to staging to get my packages. They did not tell me any of this during training I experienced what you said well within my first week of working for them.

I wonder if the software could prioritize similar routes so people could get used to it and get better at running their routes.

Does it tell you on the scanner if you scan an international package, and when to pull the proper paperwork for them?

Agree with everything, I just left my DSP in Ireland today, for us it's even worse, we are paid per day for a 9 hour route, you need to bust your ass non stop all day, sprinting up driveways etc, pissing in bottles ofc, no breaks and always still finishing in 9 hours or just more

I got a call Monday saying my background and drug test came back good. I’m waiting for the hiring manager to reach out to me. It’s Thursday, I still haven’t heard anything.

I work at Amazon and Amazon and the subcontractors are 2 different companies and do not manage in the same way. The subcontractor is trying to save money on your back, there are delivery people who receive bonuses for making rescues and others don't. They don't care about any problem, they want to show Amazon that they are the most productive and hide a lot of things as hypocrites. When you are an employee you are just a small detail. All the changes FedEx has implemented in the last 10 years has forced contractors to sell their routes, drivers to go on anxiety and depression medication, and families of drivers being left with the pieces to deal with.

All facts in this video bro. I was also an Amazon delivery driver but I just quit a week ago. Luckily now I got another delivery job that pays more and is easier. I delivered for Amazon for 3 years and it’s just not worth it to me anymore. During my 3 years with 2 different DSP’s, I have seen Amazon’s rules get way stricter and routes get a lot heavier. Back in the day when I started most DSP’s didn’t have the cameras in the vans, even the blue branded vans with the Amazon logos didn’t have them. It was a lot easier and more chill to deliver without having to worry about every minor detail on the road. Also used to average 130-150 stops with about 25 group stops and 15-25 overflow which wasn’t too bad but after a year and changing DSP’s I was averaging 170-190 stops with 30-50 overflow. From my experience I just saw the direction Amazon was going with the routes for the drivers making them heavy and complicated with apartments and business’s and the lack of care for us.

Before I started with the post office, I drove for Amazon for like a year and a half and looking back on it now, I’m amazed they never issued us dog spray. They do with the postal service. That’s something Amazon should really think about..
