Demi Lovato on Revealing Her Darkest Struggles in Hopes of Helping Others

- Demi Lovato wants to set the record straight in her upcoming RUclips docuseries, "Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil," which explores what really happened during her near-fatal overdose in 2018. She told Ellen she hopes the series will help others going through similar problems, and acknowledged we can all learn from people who overcome their darkest struggles, as even role models can make mistakes. The Grammy nominee also divulged how she feels more authentic with a short haircut, and shared what it was like to perform on Inauguration Day. She also detailed the time she unexpectedly went skydiving on a second date.

I feel like she has been this way before (confident, vulnerable, open) had another type special/interview talking on recovery's great and seemed great/healthy but then at that time or soon after she relapsed so hard to tell. Guess like all addicts / humans, will take it one day at a time - let's hope for the best !
Think she is still trying to get validation.don't know what to believe it her anyhow because in the past she has lied right to everybody's faces.that's not honesty that folks claim about her.

Watch the documentary (Dancing With The Devil). The hair cut meant so much to her for many reasons. She says it here as well. So the topic about the haircut wasn't something 'superficial' at all.
Hearing her laugh makes me so happy. I'm so grateful she's still here with us today. She really scared me back then, I just wish for her to never go through anything like that ever again. I wish her only happiness. I love you Demi, I will always stand with you

She is such a real person and I love that on her. What she said about using her hair as a shield to hide her body is exactly what I do. I use my hair to hide certain imperfections. Funny to see a gorg celebrity with the same insecurity.

I cut my hair short a couple weeks ago and I feel amazing, Ive never felt more myself and my confidence has increased unbelievably in such a short time

This person had three strokes, a heart attack and brain damage? Wow, the recovery was incredible or this was overblown by the media. Most people that suffer the things that are listed above can barely get out of bed or wipe themselves for YEARS after an event like this.
Or they can suffer them and have zero effects... It depends where in heart and brain she had the attacks. She also has youth on her side. Despite the addiction, she's been into mma and boxing so would have been reasonably fit. Plus she has the best rehab money can afford.
