    I've been walking daily for years. I find averaging 7,500 steps a day quite challenging. I'm 70 years old and average 900 miles a year along with bodyweight exercises

      Hello @paulfiore7083, It's awesome that you average 7500 steps per day. Walking and Bodyweight exercises are a great fitness combination. My second book is all about the this very topic. Fitness Walking and Bodyweight Exercises (Amazon Sales Page)

      @@WalkingforHealthandFitness hi Frank. I do one full hour a day exercising. About 30 minutes bodyweight exercises and 30 minutes fast walking. However, this reduces the total steps I can take. Do the bodyweight exercises compensate for this?

      Hello User-jf, I also started grounding this past fall. 20 minutes in my backyard after work. I walk around my yard drinking my afternoon coffee and get in the last of the sunshine. I then soak my feet in warm water for about 10 minutes after. This new routine has been a benefit to my overall health and wellbeing. Walk on, Frank

    Is half an hour daily enough for a brisk walk exercise?

    • @WalkingforHealthandFitness
      @WalkingforHealthandFitness  11 месяцев назад +3

      Hello Catherinelee4089, Yes! With that said, how do you feel after the half hour? The great thing about walking is it that at times it doesn't feel like exercise at all but it really is the best thing you can do. If the 1/2 hour works for you then keep it at that. If you're feeling strong at the half hour mark then go longer. Thanks for watching and walk on, Frank

      @@WalkingforHealthandFitness hi Frank, thanks for the reply. I walked about 3km daily within 30mins n sweaty too. Legs sometimes feeling aching but overall boost my day. Once I hit about 8-9 thousand steps tiredness set in. Overall I enjoy brisk walking n at times a slow jog.

      Hello @Pam-bx2mm, I'm happy to hear you are walking every day. Developing the walking habit is just like any skill we want to learn. The more we do it, the better we feel, the easier it gets, and the better we do it (faster walking). You do realise Juice Plus is an MLM scam, right?

    • @WalkingforHealthandFitness
      @WalkingforHealthandFitness  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hello ElizabethWhitecrochet; I use JuicePlus products every day. Their plant-based nutritional supplements and chewable work very well for me. Your word scam is strong and incorrect.
      In general, MLM is an easy way for anyone to work for themselves to create additional income. But that comes with the inherent risk of losing money and time, JUST LIKE ANY OTHER BUSINESS. No business owner is guaranteed an income.
      Approximately 10% of all business startups fail within the first year and 45% during the first five years.
      MLM with JuicePLUS makes the start-up costs extremely low. I only recommend what works for me and let the audience decide.
      Walk on, Frank
