- An overview of my time studying abroad doing a year of management engineering at Politecnico di Milano in Milan, Italy. I cover how the Italian university system works, the social side of university (Erasmus Student Network) and what it is like living in Milan. I also give some more specific insight into PoliMi specifically that can be translated to most universities in the country. If you have any questions or I can offer any help please send me a message or leave a comment and I'll try to help the best that I can.
Thanks for watching :))

Hi Alfie! Thanks for the video 😊 ai would like to know how to tramit the permeso di sogiorno
Thanks for the video Alfie!
Can I ask you which and how many courses did you take during your exchange programme please? :)
Hey Mr alfie i want to move italy for Masters i have done my bachelor in hospitality and Hotel administration and now i want to do masters programs but i m totally confused which course i can choose
I'm thinking about going in the Spring session for an energy engineering masters, and something that I've been wondering about is whether the majors have classes that are shared across a dept? And also if people generally mix and mingle between diciplines or if that's somehting you really need to go out of your way to do
how many hours a week did you put into school
Are you considered tax resident as a student?
Are there any books in english to prepare for general knowledge test? Thank you❤
Sorry I wouldn’t know anything about that as I didn’t have to take a test
Hey Alfie loved the video! I'm accepted into PolyMi and I am moving there next intake. I'm moving from India and I have constantly heard people complaining about racism and cultural inappropriation. What should I expect and what do you think about the University as a whole!
I'm also going to apply now for 2024 intake. Can u tell me how you got admission? For Bach. or masters?
Hi mate, thank you and congratulations on the offer! I don’t think I personally witnessed anything of what you’re describing whilst in Milan, however I am probably not the best person to ask! In terms of the university I found it very different from what I’m used to, so it was pretty tough adjusting to longer lectures but the teaching itself was great! I had a fantastic time at PoliMi and I hope you do aswell
HEY, firstly congratulations..and i am also from india!! may i know which course did you apply for?
@@swarnalibose5590Masters in international finance
Salem Alfie, i apreciate you for this video, i really got inspired and motivated, i'm gonna applicate to Polimi next year and i hope that we'll meet together in university. Hello from Kazakhstan
Thanks for sharing your experience, What is the best website to search for apartment to rent?
I used a website called Spotahome just because I knew that it was reliable!
Thanks for sharing. I'd like to know what language do they teach in?
Undergraduate courses are mainly taught in Italian and Masters courses are mainly taught in English. There are some exceptions!
