Hi, roughly how many days did it take for you to be able to collect your passport, after your documents were taken in in the VFS appointment? I'm also from the UK and applied in London and am doing an exchange in Italy, and i'm still waiting on any response from the consulate. I've spoken with some people who said it took about 2/3 weeks, I've been waiting just over 2 weeks now. (I couldnt get an appointment earlier since I was out of the country for a while before) My planned travel date is in a week so I'm stressing out a little now, bc I probably need to cancel/change my flight ticket...

And also if people generally mix and mingle between diciplines or if that's somehting you really need to go out of your way to do

UK is an island. We get lotsa wind from all direction

It is not common to eat at 10 pm. Italian students living alone for the first time follow their own rules.

In terms of banking, how did you handle it? Can you pay rent from your standard UK bank, or do you have to use an international bank card, such as Revolut or through an Italian bank?

What about the night life? Restaurants? The people enteractions to foreigners studying abroad?

Hey! Thank you so much for posting this video as I am in exactly that position. Been to an appointment and turned away due to not having correct documents. Please may I ask you some specific questions? I was told I needed 5k in my bank account as I am going for 5 months, did you have to show 8k because you're going for longer? And I only have that evidence in my savings account not my current account, is that a big problem? Would it be possible to ask you some more specific questions about the application form as I really don't want it to get rejected as I'm going soon. Thank you again for your video, I couldn't find anything anywhere so this was really helpful.
