Apokolips War has TOO MANY heartbreaks, but I should've guessed Under the Red Hood stabs our hearts harder
I mean that scene in the Constantine movie where a child was literally dragged into Hell was pretty heartbreaking.

Bruce getting his father's letter from the Flash in Flashpoint also tugged at the heartstrings.
I know it's in the same movie as the final entry, but Jason asking Batman why the Joker isn't dead yet always gets me. The pain in his voice just always gets me.

Yeah. Those scenes definitely made me cry. The saddest scene I’ve ever seen was where Damien sacrifice himself for Raven against Apokalips.
You mean for Batman, right? Cuz that is not how i see it in Apokolips War.

Yeah but I didn't like how they a few minutes later they brought him back they should've extended the time of his death until they resurected him to make it more impactful
@@dnt95ironically animated Damian isnt nearly as.. obnoxious as comics Damian. You see clear, albeit with setbacks, character growth making him somewhat likeable. The comics version get "reset" to full douche the moment he makes any emotional progress.. tim is still my favorite.

The ending of Under off the Red Hood hits me the most!
The whole of Apokolips War was heartbreaking.
That last line from Jason Todd just has to hit you right in the feels.
When Jason says this is the best day of my life at the end of Under the Red Hood. Gets me every time
Bruce Wayne visiting his parents grave asking to have a normal life to abandon his promise is really heartbroken also truly the best voice performances by Kevin Conroy.

Also the fact that Kevin Conroy had to tap into a dark place in his life for that scene.

@@skylineXpert it's from Flashpoint. Bruce gets shot and killed instead of his parents. Thomas beats Joe Chill to death while Martha watches. She snaps and becomes The Joker, and Thomas becomes Batman who uses guns, the weapon that murdered his son. In Batman v Superman, in the flashback showing the death of Bruce's parents, it's Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing Thomas Wayne. I was really hoping in the Flash movie we were going to have him play old man gun totting badass Batman making everyone wish they were wearing their shitting pants. We got Michael Keaton return as Batman, also good, but I can't help but feel like we got robbed.

Nightwing's death on the Injustice animated movie deserved a spot even if the movie was not liked by everyone, the reaction of Bruce is just sad to watch 😢
That Justice League Dark Apokolips was something I wish I never came across while randomly scrolling through RUclips.
Justice League: Dark Apokolips War is the animated equivalent of Avengers: Endgame.
Barry letting his mom die is sad because saving her only made things worse for the world. This is why time travel is so risky to do. One slight change can mess everything up.
It still did, the entire storyline of that DCAU came from Flashpoint, even after correcting it it all went south. Granted it was haphazardly forced since at the end of Flashpoint Batman and Flash knew each others, in War they did not until they met in battle but then in Apokolips War Constantine noted that the original flashpoint was the start and cause of it all.

Nothing is going to top the moment where Batman is sitting and comforting Ace as she dies. That scene got the waterworks going for sure.
True, but this just covered movies. In any top 10 list the covers DC animated moments, including TV shows, that tug at the heart that does not include that as #1, well, I got torches and pitchforks in a glass case labeled "When Ace's Death isn't #1 Saddest DC Animated Moments"
When I first read this, instead of that episode of JLU, my mind went to Ace the Bat-Hound.
The Tim turning into Joker Jr. was definitely the moment that made me cry.

I did not know that, and highly fitting since I think Alfred's application to be the only file in Batman's contingency plans for when all other plans fail.

Watching that Injustice adaptation made me cry. But not in the way they wanted me to.

Superman fails to save his friends,Chas looses his love,Wonder-Woman watches family shatters,Bruce and Andrea permanently separate,Tim Drake's complete breakdown is heart wrenching. Lois Lane final message too. Barry let's his mother die so sad. Remembering a happy Robin is really sad. Heart wrenching. I really felt it.Deserving number 1

in my opinion the most heartbreaking moment in dark apokolips war was at the end when flash makes another flashpoint and the heroes watch in silence as the universe is undone, that with damian and raven finally kissing broke me
The most heartbreaking part of Apokolips War is *ALL OF IT!* After all the loss and suffering, even after Darkseid and Trigon are gone, Earth is still fucked and there's nothing the surviving heroes can do to restore it. :(

All of JLDAW is just heartbreaking for me. Everything we built up to in the past 10-20 movies just for over half the characters to die or end up miserable, mutilated, or both.
Constantine thinking he left Zatanna to die only to find out she cast a spell on him to force him to flee
Equally brutal and heartbreaking is the beginning of Under The Red Hood where the joker stay smacking Robing with that crowbar

THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN SHOULD BE ON THIS LIST
From Superman Doomsday, when Lois Lane goes to Martha's Ken's farm and confess that they've been seen each other and it toward lowest down was a short and sad scene that hit hard. People often forgets is if something happens to the heroes what affects the people around him or her. The scene also was depicted in Death of Superman where Bobo was praying and it was doing a compilation of characters what they're going through with the death of Superman.
Apokalips war definitely still lives up to the dark part. Like really what the hell
When Doomsday kills Superman in The Death of Superman definitely brought some tears to my eyes.
The problem for me is that DC flubbed the comic story so badly (bringing Superman back after what was supposed to be one of, if not THE, most impactful character death) I just find it hard to find any moment that includes that as a hook to be sad. The Justic League where Toyman shoots him into the future and he works with a reformed Vandal Savage was a nice twist to the death of Superman story line, and I did find it sad watching the happy to no longer be alone Savage fade because his timeline never existed to be sad.

I think the saddest moments for me is the death of the Justice League and Teen Titans in Apokalips War
I dunno, the last scene of Apokolips War, there the Trinity is discussing how Earth is doomed due to the loss of the Earth's magma and all the others, including the cyberized Starfire is cradling the now insane Dick Grayson and Raven finally gets her happy ending with Damian right before Constantine tells the Flash that he needs to do another Flashpoint, Wipe the board clean" and they all just sit there watching the expanding all destructive white light wash over them and erase them and that timeline is still, IMHO, the most heartbreaking scene, that the all powerful of DC knowing that there is nothing they can do other than just accept this and hope the next time around work out better for them.

To bad the live actions ones are a joke, but not the haha kind.

Nightwing's death in Injustice got me going.
Pretty sure any son would be extremely hurt that his father allowed his killer to live afterwards.
Poor Batman, he was so close to letting go of the past and moving on with the girl of his dreams, and it all had to end when she turned into the thing he feared most.
The first storyline was incorrect. After Bruce's fight with the Scarecrow, he actually flew away using his bat wings after talking with Commissioner Gordon. The storyline with the guns was about him fighting through his pain, and fell into the gutter and found the guns. Two different storylines...
I didn't count on being happy...
I honestly thought number 1 would’ve been the death of Superman film. That ending was very gruesome.

Did you go with the breakup over this scene only because that scene has been talked about enough and is too obvious so you decided to shed some light on another heartbreaking moment in the movie? That grave scene makes me cry everytime, but when Bruce admits he can't save Andrea, though sad, doesn't come close to get me to cry
Injustice was far from a perfect film but the scene with Catwoman confronting Batman after Dicks death should have been on the list

Pretty much all of the death scenes in Apokolips War. All my favorite characters getting ripped apart was... I almost turned hte movie off.
