Blaze is beautiful! Thanks to this family for adopting a black dog (my favorite kind) from PHS immediately to make more space for those incoming from the fires. My dogs were all from LA shelters. If I could adopt or transport some from there to back here in Boston, I'd so in a heartbeat.💙🐾☮️
Its such a shame to see these loving dogs locked up, its the same as being in jail for a human, please adopt or foster these pups, and other pups in all other shelters ❤️❤️
@ashergarber3791 There was an entire truckload sent to San Diego from Pasadena just the other day. The title does not specify that this dog was in a shelter prior to the fires.
Thank you Glen for adopting, beautiful dog and typically black dogs have a harder time getting adopted for no other reason but the colour of their coats.
Do they know for certain that this dog does not already have an owner? This seems very premature. It is bad enough that pets were removed from the area, but what if their owners do not have transportation to San Diego or a home to bring their pets back to?
I don't understand though, why this rush to adopt animals when owners could still be looking for them? Shipping them off all over, to S.D, Utah, NorCal. Surely many have families that would want them back? Why wouldn't shelters hold them all for at least 30 days to see if owners are searching for them?
Listen to the news story in full before you comment. This is not a lost pet. This is a previously rescued pet before the fires started. This pet is adopted out so space can be made for injured pets or strays.
The problem is if this is someone's dog that is now in San Diego and the old owner will never be able to find him. This needs to be stopped since these people have lost so much and now their pets are being stolen from them. These pets need to be placed on a website so their owners can find them and be united, not adopted by people wanting pets. Their owners need them back.
Are their owners deceased, or were they surrendered for good? Ugh. The animals always have to suffer so with no understanding of what the h has happened. Glad Blaze had a soft spot to land, but likely will not forget his prev. existence with another. Left to wonder if he will see them again. Bittersweet.
What about the owners of these dogs. Why did they leave their precious animals. I know they had to find places to stay but why not take them and turn them over to a shelter until they could get them back. This is way to many animals left behind.
What a kind man who has beautiful thought of adopting a dog and he takes action on it.
A hypocrite whtrash

Thank you ❤
@TarTerri23 - No one was looking for him Thats why he was already in the shelter, on the adoptable list before fires ever broke out.
What a misleading video.
@@livingincaptivityIII It says it right in the headline.
@ashergarber3791

@@livingincaptivityIII So what! ..he did a wonderful thing to adopt Blaze formerly Shadow.
@@livingincaptivityIII in the video it stated that him and 38 other animals lived in the shelter.
Happy they adopted him. And Happy they put Blaze instead of Fire as his new name. Aptly name puppy. He is very happy in his new home

Such beauty from ashes ; whatever the enemy meant for evil God will turn to good. Blaze tells the story of the goodness in mankind .🐾💕🙏
Great great job, well done guys!
Fabulous!!
Owners should locate their fur babies they need the love these fur babies were given before the fire
Blaze is adorable.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a great story

This is a dog already up for adoption BEFORE the fire. Those are the ones L.A. moved out to make room for evacuees and injured animals.
@myoldvhstapes
Neither the title, nor the description, specified that situation.
@ True!
Lovely.
Blaze got lucky to land with a nice family like them.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💜
My dogs have been very good to me; I'm sure glad they have never been anywhere near fire.

@@seatontherocket5752 I guess I missed that part, I was under the impression these were all pets from the fires. I get it now, thanks.
So the title is kinda like a clickbait. I too thought the dog was a lost pet from the fire tragedy @@seatontherocket5752
♥️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
That dog got a niiiìce backyard.
What happened to the owners of those animals?
Blaze looks like he's been your dog forever!
Call him shadow and blaze.

What if he belongs to someone who was evacuated and maybe looking for his or her dog???
Are their owners deceased, or were they surrendered for good? Ugh. The animals always have to suffer so with no understanding of what the h has happened. Glad Blaze had a soft spot to land, but likely will not forget his prev. existence with another. Left to wonder if he will see them again. Bittersweet.
Hope no one is looking for this dog!!!
It is one that was already up for adoption in Pasadena. They brought it down here so a fire victim could fill the spot.
That was my first thought too but he was taken to San Diego to make room for dogs whose homes burned. Then he was adopted by Glen. Nice story.
Tip him when he brings back the toy to you.
But maybe his owner is looking for him back in Altadena

REALLY… old white man. Had to call the media for all to see that he adopted one dog, wow…. Sick
Blaze is luckyy! I'm so glad for Blaze and the family who game him a home; many blessings to the family.👏🦴🐾💕
Thank you!
Lovely.
