Replaced the relay switch and didn't fix the problem. Then watched this video and tapped on the new relay switch with pliers and retried. Low and behold the AC was blowing cold air. thank you for saving me $$$'s
Thank you sir for the video, elderly neighbor was having trouble with his AC not working in his 08 ridgeline, I first tried the recharged and the pressure was up and the AC clutch wasn’t engaging.. So looked up the issue and your video popped up. Went back over and pulled the relay tapped on with my pliers and it worked!! So thank you for the informative video, you helped someone out👍🏻
Awesome video & info! You saved me a trip to the local Honda dealer to troubleshoot this issue. I too tried recharging system to no avail. Saw your video, opened fuse/relay box & swapped similar relay and BINGO works like a charm. Mine wouldn't come back to life tapping on it so I broke down and spent the $4.00 at Rockauto. Thanks for valuable info!
Thank you! Tried tapping the relay - no go, but went down to Autozone, replaced the relay and bam! It worked right away! Took only 30 seconds to change out and that was fumbling around with my pliers and covid19 mask. Great Job on your video!
I have a 2011 Ridgeline. The A/C compressor only comes on when I rev the engine over 2k rpm. I had the compressor replaced, evac and refill.. Same result. Any ideas?

I hear this relay is a common problem in Honda Ridgelines.
You wouldn’t happen to know why my climate control in my 08 ridgeline won’t turn on would you ? I replaced the unit and still nothing happens.
