Animated is definitely the best. It's my favorite show of all time. So many great new ideas, and remixed old ideas. A true masterpiece. Its only problem is the animation, which isn't even awful.
i love Cybertron and Armada because the fight scenes are GOATED (I'm a weeb) and Armada Starscream is best version of Screamer! Animated is my childhood and i still have a Soft spot for it
I wish more portrayals of Starscream was like Armada. Competent, Loyal until he's forced over the edge and betrays Megatron, but even in Treason he's still "loyal"
Transformers Armada is an underrated masterpiece the characters, and philosophical Speeches and themes of evil and hate, and a new character dynamic of Megatron and Optimus and that final episode and fight with megatron and Optimus was truly amazingly choreograph

Well, Armada did face a lot of issues in regards to its English dub, and a lot of people are quick to blame Voicebox Productions, but there are other issues you can't blame on them, including animation errors and inconsistent names. Besides, Voicebox are veterans when it comes to animation, providing voice work for shows like Ed, Edd, and Eddy and Johnny Test. Aside from the Unicron Trilogy, the only anime under their belt is Zoids Fuzors.
The problem I have with Bulkhead in Animated is I honestly can't take him seriously considering he's voiced by the guy who voiced Patrick in SpongeBob.

Energon should be in F tier.....because when you have to cycle through the EXACT SAME GODDAMN STORY TWICE, YOUR SHOW IS SHIT. and Cybertron, well, the humans were OK, plot was cool, and the fight scenes were great, I would place it in B tier as well. that being said, I loved Megatron from the Machinima series, a guy who is basically done with everything. Beast Machines had a decent plot, and was decent overall, it's not a decent Transformers show (as TJOmega put it, it's a good show, just not a good Transformers show.....that was after he broke Scott Mcneil.)
It's understandable to have problems with G1, it has aged poorly. But it's also about the same age as Gundam The Original Series. Both of which are excellent, setting up everything for today. Also G1s designs on Earth a vastly superior to the nonsense of today, and most of the plot is well done and superior to today, for example: "Orion Pax was badly damaged and rebuilt into Optimus Prime." The Transformers WFC game did the best job with updating character models, plot, etc. Btw, Transformers Prime had no balls. In the finale, they didn't have the guts to kill Bumblebee (permanently), that would've been an amazing direction to go in from a writer's perspective. They tried to "subvert" your expectations by bringing him back 30 seconds later, but I think most people expected them to bring bumblebee back ASAP. If they had kept Bumblebee dead (and not have a crappy Starscream model, like damn he looks awful) , I would've been shocked and engrossed. Shockwave & Ratchet is almost always done right, thank god. So TP had that going for them.
As someone who got a transformers itch from TFOne for the first time since I was a kid, I heard good things about Prime. So I tried it, and man…..those kids make it so hard to watch. I’ve seen about three or four episodes and I don’t want to watch any more because of those three kids. I can’t stand the “capable kid” trope, and all three of them are that to a T. I do understand that these need to sell toys to children, but I can confirm that kids love to see big robots fight. And while the animation for the transformers themselves is good, that rendering engine was made for metal, not human flesh
I agree with you on all of them but I'm thinking back and now I believe that some went into the Wrong direction the others were rushed because supply and demand were so high also when the hub got the rights to animated they canceled the series because lack of veiws
trashing on energon and cybertron is a bit much...personally i think they are atleast B tier. cyberton looks weird at times but if you can get past the 2005 cgi stuff it's a decent show. energon and cybertron had some of the most epic moments in transformers history imo

Energon is more mixed, there are good things in it, but easily the weakest of the "Unicron Trilogy", Cybertron on the other hand is great, I love Cybertron, easily my #1 favorite Transformers series, note there there are a few (only 2 I can think of, those might be be the only ones) errors that were latter fixed, so "if" you decide to watch Cybertron you might get the mistakes or not.
Energon is an D tier for me, there's barely any plot and the animations on the transformers are awful, and Kicker is especially annoying (the soundtrack is a mixed bag) Cybertron is probably a B or C for me, sure the the CGI for the transformers is still bad but at least it looks better than that of Energon, soundtrack for it is S tier tho (and the transformation sequences while repetitive, go absolutely hard with the music)

Transformers prime is honestly the best animated series of the entire franchise. EarthSpark is a great show, would highly recommend giving it a watch.
