Back years ago, I started with the 16 x 20 and also got the round bag platton and the sleeve platton. I also got a hat press. The 16 x 20 press still looks like it just came out of the box. It came mounted on a plywood base for me because I needed it set up for mobility. I wrote down the time and temp of the various types I would be pressing on the plywood base. A puff print is not the same as cut vinyl and I wanted a quick reference. My cutter is the Cam 24 that included the Cam Studio. Then later I picked up a more expensive 24 inch cutter with a print-master system. I am 52 and long retired but am thinking about unwrapping it all and setting up to sell online. Virgina T's was near my store so I used them. My press is about 10 years old and white. Never regretted buying it.
Hey there blessings to you and your family! I'm so glad to have crossed your video! I've had my heat press for almost a year! I bought it off Ebay! It's a 12by12 iron tho!! I have not used it at all! I reached out to a company and had a few shirts made, but I realized I'm loosing out big time if I have to ship the shirts! I need to grabs this concept so I can finally fulfill my dreams! My problem is I'm not technical as far as using a computer! I barely know how to use a phone! This video is exactly what I need to help me finally get motivated to start my buisness! This company is a one stop shop for what I need! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us about how to start our own t-shirt business! God BLESS ❤🤗👍🙏
Excellent presentation Josh, you are an absolute pro, thanks for sharing your knowledge! Time for me to break out the heat press, cap press & vinyl cutter that have all just been sitting in that spare bedroom gathering dust, and do something constructive with them 👍🏼☺️
This is very interesting and informative to what I am about to start. I was into successful home t-shirt printing business 30 years ago, using technical drawing pen sets for my designs. T-shirt design printings finish, had to be send overseas for printings of my t-shirt quantities order. My business faded out when the economy crashed. T-shirt printings is always my passion . I am now living in Australia for the last 16 years with my family. I just ordered from amazon.au my first Heat Transfer Machine 12" x 15" Swing-Away Digital 5-in-1 Heat Press Machine for T-Shirts, Sublimation Hot Pressing Machine Multipurpose Mug/Hat Plate/Cap Press, Combo Kit. I am excited and can't wait for it's arrival next week, and now getting prepared for expert tips and informative advises (online) of what next step is required to start by home-based t-shirt business. Can I register with Stahl and use this with my own design, not from the customise categories you have here. Also, I was on another similar site which is costly of buying a dvd on tips t-shirt printing business. Great and coool presentation. Kindly advise, thanks.

As long as you have the right materials and equipment you can start printing t-shirts. Some have made a simple start by offering shirts to family and friends and let evolve from there. As with anything, the more you do something, the better at it you get and the more you learn. Our RUclips Channel has a lot of videos ranging from simple processes to those that are more involved. Please check out the videos available. Also, you'll find some great information on our blog as well: blog.stahls.com/
Ty for sharing.. Just wondering do you know of a company that does pictures of photos that would transfer design to a t shirt or jacket that you buy from them too.. ? Pls let me know.. Are doggie pass away in sept wanted to get a t shirt of his picture for my son with his name on that too... Ty..
You will need to decide what kind of transfers you would like to offer your customers. Many people cut their own heat transfers with a vinyl cutter and rolls of heat transfer vinyl. Another option is offering screen printed transfers. I suggest watching more of our videos to see what products we offer.

Things to consider when deciding which method would be best for you is how much space you have and what kind of business you want to have. If you primarily only want to do 1, 2, or 3-color logos in higher quantities, screen printing or ink transfers may be the best fit. If you want to offer more customization such as printing photos on t-shirts, a direct-to-garment printing may be the best choice. If you want the ability to be able to do a little bit of everything, heat printing makes the most sense. Visit www.stahls.com/ultimate-guide-starting-tshirt-business for even more information.
For printing photos, you have a few options: CAD-PRINTZ® full color digital transfers [ www.stahls.com/full-color-digital-transfer ]offer sharp images that can be applied to T-shirts, sweatshirts, or just about any item (apparel or non-apparel) you can think of. If you own a print/cut system you can produce the images in-house using CAD-COLOR® printable heat transfer materials [ www.stahls.com/printable-heat-transfer-vinyl ]. Even without the system, you can quickly and easily create one-of-a-kind looks with transfer papers that work with a laser or inkjet printer [ www.transferpaperexperts.com/ ].
Create a login at transferexpress.com/users/sign_in to access the editor. There is not charge to create designs, the cost comes in to play when you order transfers from the design created.
