When I was a kid, I was given an authentic enchilada wrapped in a corn husk and ate the whole thing, husk and all because I was unaware the I was supposed to eat the enchilada out of the husk like a wrapper...

By non-edible I assume it means non-digestible. You can eat almost anything, but if it doesn't digest it's gonna go right through you and come outta other end. There's a lot of vegetation that your digestive system will simply ignore and pass on to your ass.

Instead of a 'Draw My Life' do a 'Cook My Life' and show us a few of the dishes your mum or dad or whoever cooked for your childhood.
I'm hoping and assuming you're of some interesting heritage and have some cool foreign recipes to show us.
As a Hungarian I grew up on Goulash and Paprikash and all sorts of whacky food that no one would ever understand. But when I became a chef, I discovered how amazing of a cook my mum truly was. The skillset and recipes that were passed down from generation to generation of mums in my family had so much real life 'Commercial Cookery' certified elements ingrained into their techniques.
And it was a wonderful realization that my mum wasn't learning chef skills, instead chefs around the world were learning mummas traditional skills.
I don't know why but the first thing I saw was cock my life, I'm stupid I know.

you asked why we watch. I watch because as someone who has worked in kitchens for 15 years I dig your style. I enjoy that you make food as it is first described and then show how to make the ideal better. You also use strpng culinary technique but make it easy to follow. also the show is funny. overall it is worth 10 minutes of time to watch
I watch because i feel i made the wrong choice in life. I chose between becoming a doctor or a chef, i thought "A doctor earns more and it seems kinda fun" so i studied to become one and found out it's pretty boring, mostly just doing paper work. After i had worked for a couple of years i thought "Might as well become a surgeon" it was fun at first but after a while i got bored so i bought some land in northern sweden, it started off small with about 4 acres...you know, just for shits and giggles. Then i bought some more and some more and some more until i ended up with 300 acres. I Started selling lumber to a local saw mill on my free time, basically just making agreements and getting money for it. I Bought more land, sold more lumber, made some smart investments and the cycle continued until i had way too much land and money to care. Found a mansion for sale for only 3 000 000 kronor/$300 000 and it had the most beatiful kitchen i'd ever seen. That's when I decided that i might try out my old dream again and try learning to cook. I found Binging with Babish and became hooked in an instant. I honestly want to thank him for helping me pass my time.

I'm still waiting for when you use the capri sun that you saved here. I've been making these Taco Town mega tacos for a while and have a giant unused stock of capri sun. don't know what to do with them.
Do what i do, pour it into a glass with ice, add 2oz of vodka, garnish with an orange peel and enjoy one of the best summer cocktails on the surface of the earth
