These videos make me think back to when I wanted to be a chef. My high school culinary class threw that dream out the window. I realize now that what I want to do is not learn to be a chef, but learn how to cook for my friends and family with some competence. No fear of getting fired or of being yelled at by Gordon Ramsey, but just impressing my guests and my stomach.

I was apart of Hurricane Harvey, I wasn't one of the people who had the worst damage. My room got flooded a little with plenty of horrible mold. I slept in the kitchen and the only thing I hated about sleeping in the kitchen was that I had woke up due to the smell of coffee. Which started to annoy me since I can't drink coffee. I've seen the damage in person and haven't seen Texas since I had moved to Oregon. It may have been a couple years ago but, I appreciate that you had helped the people who had it worse. I knew somebody whos house was way more damaged than ours. They had lost everything. You most likely had given some of your profits to help them. Thank you, Babish. Hey, Chris here........I ALWAYS scoop out the bread from the top of the roll, it gives more room for the filling to not fall out, plus it's also a nice well for mayo, sauces or any condiments to sit in without falling out. I'm Italian, so I believe that part of the roll that gets scooped out is called "mooleague" at least that's what my family referred to it growing up.......not sure if it's spelled correctly or not, but that's how it's pronounced. I spelled it the way it's pronounced so there's no confusion...LOL. BTW....love your channel!!!!!

Nice!! the "Deviled Eggs" we make in Australia are mostly the same except we also add curry powder to the yolks for that extra hit of spice flavour :-)
Sushi inspired deviled eggs. I haven't fully worked the recipe, but it basically had minced to a pulp pickled ginger, soy sauce, and tiny amount of sesame oil blended with the cooked yolks. Then you smear a wee bit of 'wasabi'* inside the cavity of the egg white (just enough to get some green color, unless you really want some serious bite) before returning the prepared yolk filling. I topped with either finely shredded green onion or toasted sesame seeds. *Almost no one in north america has had real, honest to goodness wasabi which is a tragedy, but it just isn't realistic for most people to have the real thing as it is tricky to grow and, once you grind it, you have like 15 minutes to eat it before the flavour goes away.
