Thanks for helping make Bolt Action Explode in popularity!
Thank you for the incredible support each week
An important note about indirect fire: if the target enemy unit didn't move their unit more than 2" from their initial footprint then they don't count as having moved.
Looks like it might be time to muster the Desert Rats.
Glad I watched this, I always thought it was the 1 pin for the hit and THEN the 1+D3
Thank you! excellents walk-through of game rules with helpful tips.
I have never played bolt action and didn’t even know it existed before this all I saw was artillery and neurons activated
Autocannons are AMAZING against veteran infantry and support teams. +2 pen
More of this please!!
I have long considered getting into Bolt Action.
Do it! You wont regret it :)
@MordianGlory perhaps but there's also all of the other game systems I want to try, like Fallout Wasteland Warfare and Middle Earth.
@@nicholaswalsh4462you can always go to a gameshop and do a tryout game. Great fun!
What type of artillery (HE or not) do you recommend for a somewhat newish Japanese player? I want a good infanty support weapon to get US GIs to go down when i come in with my Banzai Charges. FOR THE EMPEROR!! ( For context I'd rate myself a regular leadership 9)
Just started Bolt action as Canada, and let me tell you, my medium mortarts must have had SAS or Commando training because so far they got a hit the second round of firing and were very effective. Shame I can only take 1 mortar team.
Lol i need this but in 40k form xD trying to spec artillery for my mechanized army. Any chance youll do a mathhammer video for the guard artillery? I was looking at everything from praetors to earthshakers and none really stand out damage wise. Havent played a 10th ed game yet.
great video...what do we know about 3rd edition???
So what im hearing is that i have to take 2 medium howitzers as the french a
Yes!
Bombardment on the way. Heads down, chaps!
And a win win if you have them on a vehicle, my favorites are my Brummbar and StuH 42 for my Germans then my JSU-152 and KV-2 for my Soviets then my M-8 and M4A3 105mm Sherman for my US then my Type 4 Ho Ro and Type 1 Ho Ni tank destroyer for my Japanese SNLF. The Ho Ni also has the versatile rule where it can be fired as a medium AT gun or as a light howitzer which is even better than the 75mm Sherman as you can just start to indirect fire if a target is behind cover or wants to be down around an objective. So that way they have a choice stay in place and eventually get hit or keep moving and so have other units take shots against them, or keep having the Type 1 roll 6's on the next shot due to moving.
A reminder that American infantry don’t suffer the penalty to hitting due to movement. If you want to be a real shitter, all you have to do is wiggle your GIs a millimeter or two to shake off those mortars every turn.
Needs to move at least 2 inches
As an 11C i expect to be triggered.
