I had to chuckle at Step 4 because as a scale modeler who is a gamer, I try to match each piece of gear with the right color. that's just me and I don't expect others to do it. But I chuckled because I would be the one guy who did notice (and still appreciate that you painted the webbing)

Great advice. My one biggest top tip though would be GET ON WITH IT and trust the process. Often a mini will look a bit crap right up to the final stage when it miraculously all comes together. Also, remember that a painted mini will ALWAYS look better than an unpainted mini whatever your painting skill level is.
