Dang dog your going to be running circles around us! Can't wait to see the next vids
Holy hernias batman! Those tires slipped a disc in my back through the tubes! The diff trusses and body brackets sure look tough!
More clearance, Clarence!
A Jeep build on MotoIQ? Normally not my cup of tea but I’ll watch 😅
I like very much this channel. Yoy guys are so competent and genuine it's a pleasure to watch.
Can’t wait to hit the trail!
Awesome to see a GenRight equipped build on here, and an LJ at that! We are currently doing a JK Elite suspension with a Whipple blown LS3 and a bunch of other goodies at our shop right now, love their products
Looks like a cool build, we appreciate you choosing us for your front bumper.
Such a cool build Jeff.
thanks! did you catch your cameo appearance?
What an awesome build. I’ll be following along and bug you soon. My LJ is going along a similar path for accommodating 40”s.
Cool build. Some details on the suspension.. Coilovers/ORI/Springs and shocks? And some details on the frame stretch. The reasons why you made your choices costs would be most helpful.
I am just starting a TJ build myself with a stock 32RH Automatic so you have a little head start. I am starting with a pair of Rubicon Dana 44 axles and adding trusses to run 37s. I am interested in your 4.7L stroker engine.
you got it!
Any more info on how you did with the stretch?
Not hard top static balance em just to get em in the ballpark. Totally worth doing.
p.s. avoid the meme beads, they suck.
This LJ is going to be a very capable off road rig with all those stout upgrades. But I don't see this being a comfortable 3 hour ride on 40's that you're seeking. Plus, you're looking at oh maybe 5 miles to the gallon. I've seen amazing LJ's with 33" mud terrains that did great on and off road. And most of those had Dana 44's front and rear with trusses with no issues.
I have no problem on long drive with my lj on 40's. It depends on how you build it. And I get an average of 1o mags with the 6 speed.
Any updates on the lj...I'm dying to know.
Soon!
I'm a street-car guy from Europe so even Hilux's axle looks heavy-duty to me. But this one... man, it's just insane. What do you want it to withstand?
The idea.. is anything.
California rock crawling
@@hotshtsr20 searched on RUclips, and first thought about previews: it's a fake. But they aren't. You are kinda crazy.
@@barongogenzoler4300 why thank you. Lol
@@barongogenzoler4300If you ever get a chance to go rock crawling in California, jump on it. It's an experience you'll never forget.
Where did you get the brush you used in the drill to clean the axle?
got them from Eastwood. item number 13902. it’s a 2” diameter wire brush on a 6” shaft that i extended with a piece of fuel hose and hose clamps attached to a longer rod.
@@motoiq Thanks for the reply
I just ordered the 19.5 gal genright tank because they told me with a 14 bolt I wouldn’t be able to get the 6-7 stretch with the bigger tank. Did you find a problem getting the stretch with the larger fuel tank?
i haven’t got a final measurement but i think i got about 6-7” with plenty of clearance 🤷🏼♂️. you have an LJ?
@@motoiq I do and when I orders my tank just two weeks ago motobuilt told me that tank would not work with the stretch and a 14 bolt
How much did you end up pushing the front forward?
i dont have a final measurement but probably 2-3 inches.. constrained by pitman arm/tie rod interference
Put 44’ tires on it.
