    I own CRWD stock...It is doing well in terms of returns...After seeing this video, I checked the PE of CRWD. Holycow it is 866. That is astronomically high....something to worry about ?

    • @chipstockinvestor
      @chipstockinvestor  7 месяцев назад +2

      Look at the PE ratio on a forward looking basis, it makes more sense

    • @jaykrizzle
      @jaykrizzle 7 месяцев назад +2

      Do you even know when to look at trailing PE and when it makes absolutely no sense at all?
      Of course companies that recently turned profitable will have high PEs

      @@chipstockinvestorNot sure where to find the estimated EPS...but one estimate on nasdaq says FPE to be 640. That is still very high.

    With most companies bringing people back to the office, whats the advantage of zscaler over firewall systems? It seem there are too many options to make this company's stability guarenteed

    Nice video. What is your interpretation that the operating income is both negative and growing in the negative year to year, despite revenue growth, customer growth? I find it very demotivating to see that after many years, a supposedly leading cybersec. software company still cannot sell the product at prices larger than what it costs to deliver it.

      For sure, this is why we don't own this one. The CEO and other employees are getting tons of SBC. Not seeing that moderate was the reason we parted ways in 2019.

    @11:29, maybe CRWD didnt include ZS in the charts because they are partners..., since their products compliment each other..lol

    • @chipstockinvestor
      @chipstockinvestor  7 месяцев назад

      True, they do integrate with each other, but they do have some competing ancillary services. They'll bump into each other in the years to come.

      interestin point..thanks. Also, I notice in the last earnings call both CEO of CRWD and ZS were both calling out PANW only@@chipstockinvestor

    I think Cloudflare would be a better comparison.

      It's a tough comp, because Cloudflare has an SASE network too.
