Interesting how much has changed since the video had been recorded. NVDA in the 900s, TSLA, ASML and APPL down even more. I am currently holding north of $300k in a savings account waiting to invest in another huge opportunity.. Where would you invest this as of now?

Nice work guys. Been long Fortinet since 2011 or so. Still holding the core position. Made a lot in 2021. As the company that created the UTM market which essentially combined many features in one box (fw, swg, wan op, etc) their history of combining tech into a single platform and GUI is strong. They’ve always been strong in the mid market and that may be their SASE edge as it was for companies that couldn’t afford multiple boxes and so just bought a UTM. In Asia here that was a strong play for years.
We own FTNT and Bug ETF. Also own the big boys of cloud and security, eg, Microsoft Google Amazon

Cybersecurity is a crowded trade right now. Whilst I’m long term bullish on the sector, if you don’t have a position now I wouldn’t be rushing to buy these stocks given the weakening of key economic data. I fortunately purchased Darktrace 8 months back as it was the only undervalued company, I don’t see a lot of value of it’s US peers at current prices. Earnings at the end of month for the big companies will give us the direction needed for the next couple of quarters.

Fortinet is my largest holding, and I feel as though the discount to its peers is pretty high from almost every conventional valuation metric, ESPECIALLY when you subtract SBC expense from free cash flow. Do you guys feel as though Fortinet has the runway to continue high teens to low twenties free cash flow growth into the 2030's? Thank you!

im a crwd and palo guy. i think ftnt perhaps is a bit slow. mab in time it will pick up, yep now might be the time to buy , im looking at 40 dollars on to re start a position. or indeed why not a cyber security ETF ......
Very true. However, as for the cyber ETFs, have you seen their performance? While this isn't a winner-takes-all industry, it most definitely is a winner-profits-most industry. The small players are a total mess, and their inclusion in the ETFs makes them under-perform a broader software tech ETF.
