Nick highlights the digital payments network leader as a prime example of success in the cloud and enterprise computing sector. The discussion covers a high-level view of Visa's business model, its contributions to cybersecurity, the infrastructure supporting its massive digital transactions network, and its financial health, including impressive earnings and massive shareholder returns.
The analysis especially reveals Visa's incredible cash flow, and how management has returned much of that to shareholders over time. Chip Stock Investor reaffirms its outlook on Visa as a core portfolio holding, emphasizes its role as a digital railway, and its exemplary business model for IT and cloud computing companies to imitate.

What a solid business. I've been digging around all weekend on Visa. I don't need convincing on this one. I think they will continue to meet and exceed expectations. So long as capitalism survives, Visa will thrive. This should be a core holding in everyone's portfolio. I'm happy to buy shares at this price. Thanks for the update!!

Loving this video, it came out just at the right moment.
I've had 5 positions in my portfolio for quite some time, and I had been itching to add a quality 6th one.
Prospects were Nvidia, Broadcom, TSMC, Linde, McDonalds etc, but finally this week I had settled on Visa.
My long term portfolio - each position weigthed equally - reads:
    Passive part:
FTSE Developed World ETF (0.12% TER)
    Realty Income REIT
    Berkshire Hathaway
    "Active" part:
    Microsoft
    Costco
    Visa

What an amazing and crucial company, such a giant.
Kicking myself for not opening a position before, but currently seriously considering opening a position.
Could you maybe do Mastercard video as well? Thanks Nick!

this stock and mastercard profit from inflation without doing anything.

All stocks will increase over time due to inflation, so not exactly a reason to buy V or MA! Better opportunities elsewhere.

What about MA? It seems to outperform V lately.

V and MA are good business models but their stock performance is very lacklustre. No different to many banks. This is a stock where I believe many investors temporarily “park” their money until better opportunities are discovered, or when the market turns volatile.

How do you say it’s lackluster when it’s out performed the S&P 500 over a five and 10 year basis

    Wait till CBDC

I am curious how will that impact on CC. I personally think CC is more safer than bitcoin or Zelle b/c it has a 3rd party involve who can track the end user. Bitcoin can’t and Zelle can’t if via email and the banks are not chasing it for consumers.

@@sallyho146 I think bitcoin cant compete with CC but CBDC, central bank digital currencies like digital dollar will steam roll CC because is also digital , secure and has no transaction cost for the seller
