    Hey guys, let me show you how to play the most beautiful classical piano piece on the ukulele.
    In this ukulele lesson, we will look at the lovely For Elise by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
    For Elise was composed by Beethoven in 1810, but it was only discovered and published 40 years after his death.
    In this simple ukulele arrangement, I will show you how to play the piece's simple opening along with the chords.
    The chord progression of For Elise is very simple. In the first section, we only play the A minor and E major chord. The second section is played with C | G | Am | E |.
    The tab is available on Patreon.
    Enjoy this lesson.

    I started playing the piano last year and just now with the ukulele. I immediately fell in love with that beautiful instrument, but love the piano too and only playing chords on the ukulele felt a bit off. This now feels like home, thank you so much!! As I just started, I will learn the basics first, but now I have something to look up to and come back when I am ready :)

      You stole my comment, but I'm not angry. I love playing Bach on the uke, I've done Menuet in Sol G, and just started learning Prélude in C. It works fine until about the 9th measure. I just ordered a Baritone so I'm looking forward to having lower notes.
      Bon continuation.

      "Für Elise" means "For Elise" in German as it was composed for Elise

    • @agherisyoutube1269
      @agherisyoutube1269 3 года назад +2

      @@myburgher Yes but I think what he means is that the pieces name is "Für Elise". For example just as it is "Rondo alla Turca" and not "the turkish march". I personally think translating an original pieces name doesn't make sense but of course it's not that big of a deal ;)

      Hi Emma. It is probably because there is a gap between the notes you play. Try to hold the notes for as long as you can ... I hope this helps.

    I'm finding I can successfully avoid all the wornout classical guitar pieces. There is so much beginner level medieval, renaissance, and Celtic pieces out there that allow us to avoid classical guitar music. That's just me. YMMV. EDIT: I wanted to add that Carulli, Carcassi, Giuliani have many obscure pieces available for ukulele.
