This is the most REAL "reset" video I've ever seen! I feel your pain so much rn. I'm almost 50 now (yikes!), and my 20s were a lot like that--I married a man-child, lost custody of my first kid, divorced when I was pregnant with my second, and basically went thru hell from there. When I turned 40, I found out I also have ADHD on top of my anxiety and depression. I can't count the number of times I tried hitting the reset button on my life. But things are slowly, finally getting better now. Both my kids somehow survived and grew into great young men; I have the best job with the best coworkers and the best boss that I've ever had my entire life; I'm somewhat better at "adulting" than I used to be; and while things will never be perfect, I'm a lot more equipped to handle things when they inevitably go off the rails. So, please hang in there! I hope and pray things get better for you sooner rather than later. Virtual hugs! 🤗💖

as someone who deals with depression and anxiety, something about this video just resonated with me. like, trying to pick yourself up only for everything to just go wrong.
Honestly the fact that you tried to get your life together while withdrawing from SSRIs is a testament to your character. I went off mine in the summer and I literally cried for a month straight and felt the most unhinged I had felt in my whole life (I'm 29) 6 months later I'm doing better but I definitely can tell that the SSRIs helped.

You’re supposed to wean off SSRI’s! For some reason no doctor ever mentions this to people 🤷🏻♀️ You shouldn’t have had to go through that.
@@s.stevens4520 that would have been a nice option. They went from $15 a month to $30 and I didn't have any extra income in the summer.
To be fair I weaned off of SSRIs and mood stabilizers. I got to the point where I was feeling how I felt without them and with the help of a professional we decided that maybe it was best I took a break from them. Even with weening off then, your brain still goes through withdrawals, and after two weeks, I was at rock bottom again. Luckily, it wa just withdrawl and after my brain readjusted I did better. It's a drug and your brain has to get use to it not being there. Albeit if you don't ween off (something very important to do) withdrawal is a lot worse.

fresh out of the psych ward and finally got diagnosed with depression and anxiety. Finally got meds, and am now facing repercussions of being so severally depressed while unmedicated. This is how every reset I've tried to do for the past 5 months have gone. I'm so glad you're back! We can only go up from here.

For what it's worth, I am so happy you are back and somewhat healthy and alive. I totally get what you are going through. I had life throwing shit at me since summer and every other day new shit joins the club. And most of the things are completely out of my control and I can't do anything to get these done and over with. I always think it is just me going through this and I wonder what other people must have a relaxing life. But this just shows that we are not alone, and I try to be grateful because I know that I have quite a comfortable life compared to others. But all I want is a few days without any problems or worries, or maybe even just with a few of them. Take care and stay strong. We will get there. Eventually. Reset the reset reset.
Funnily enough, one of my shits also involved my mother's car (which I borrowed) getting broken into (smashed window, stolen camping gear) and then my mum driving a rental car (which I rented) into a branch (£800 repair costs)

It almost feels like this video came into my life for a reason, I relate to it so much. I'm turning 25 soon and I've spent most of my 20's dealing with depression, this year especially hitting me hard because I've come to realize I haven't done much in my life since graduating high school... and everyone else seems to just be moving on without me. I've also just started tapering off my antidepressants and the quarter life crisis is really hitting me hard -- I'm ready for my own reset.
R.I.P. the minivan!!! That's so awful Ris, my truck was my grandpa's and I'm constantly terrified of the day it inevitably leaves me. Glad to see you back on RUclips, hope life's going a little better now. As a 24 year old i feel your pain 😅

I also have eczema & for the longest time my skin would inflame around my eyes and mouth also, it's like torture and public humiliation at its worst to me and it makes me feel like I did something so bad in my past life to deserve this or maybe I crossed a witch when I was 8 idk. especially when people point it out like my skin irritating and peeling off is my business ok 😒😒😭I can also barely ever wear makeup :/
I'm 19 now but I went through the period of being unemployed & school-less and not knowing what to do with my life after having to move in with my mom the last couple months. I tried to take that time for some self reflection and get out of derealization, it worked just a bit lol. It's really one type of pressure being lifted off just for another to lay on top of me. I'm not sure what I really need in my life personally because it has been such a mess but I finally found a job and am taking college classes this summer so things are looking up sort of.
Anyway I hope in the near future you're awarded for taking everything that happened pretty well and sailing on. It's ok to cry through it and release pent up feelings, that way you're turned inside out and you can finally start fresh the way you hoped for. I hope we get to hear more from you soon!!!
