i noticed the syncing of the cash register sounds was off from the final album version we're all used to. this version has a much warmer feel to it from start to finish. and the ending without the voice samples that are interspersed throughout the album is quite refreshing. thanks for sharing this gem!

there are a bunch of subtle changes. many effects they put on that you cant really hear on the release mix. some changes from left to right and backwards in the solo and a few other changes. I appreciate this version even more than the normal mix. You can spot these kind of changes in the rest of the early mix and also some stuff they decided to remove or redo (look at brain damage or the great gig in the sky for example).

I certainly was in the right in thinking that a lot of things in this mix are misplaced according to the burned in record that's been residing in my brain for 40+ years. Now I'm all discombobulated. Thanks. Now I can't find my socks... AND my keys aren't where they were yesterday. Where did my shoes go? That was interesting tho.... You get one LIKE. 👍🏼

Got the Immersion box set of this album for Christmas the year it came out. I need to pull it out and listen to the early mixes of these legendary songs. I forgot early mixes were a part of the set! Lol.

the riff at the end does kind of give away that it's a work in progress. It kind of abruptly ends before the singing starts again.
