This is the best tutorial setup!! Thank you ☺️
Thank you so much. Am gr8full, may God bless you
Nice one..... thanks man
Someone just recommended me the Evermix and I’m thinking, what’s the diff between that and Irig? And can’t you just make your own Irig? I just bought a mic jack and a cable for $20 and made my own Irig. Really fascinating! Great video homie!
Thanks for all the useful information! I just have a few questions around the iRig product itself.
- I'm curious as to if you might have some insight on what DJs on Instagram are using to make their short reels (or are they possibly pulling from previous live streams)?
- Do they use the same setup that you're mentioning (with the iRig) or do they have a different set up?
- Also can you record a video (and still maintain audio clarity) instead of live streaming when using the iRig?
hi just wanna if i am using the traktor s4 mk3 do i have to also plug the irig into the booth output,, thanks
hi! What is that coffin case you use for xdj 1000mk2 and djm 750? does it fit perfectly?
Got a big question here: Instead an iPhone or Android phone, can i use this for recording my audio and video (not streaming) connected to a GoPro Hero 8 with the type-c cable??
In order to use my iRig sound separately from my studio monitors. I can only go into my booth monitor connection.
Or is there a way I can a mixer to accomplish all of this?
Thanxxx PRI, does the App work with the Pioneer DJM 900? second question: does the App work on TikTok?
Hi There, i have a IRIG Stream, it's all ok, the general record/stream sound is good, but it has some annoying clicking kind of noise behind (on phone and PC). Been trying to solve it regulanting the levels (gain and so on) but still there. Anyone have an idea how to solve this? thanks.
Late to the party- but when you live stream a gig, will it still record just the audio file as well?
Thank you for this tutorial! :) 4:59 😃
Does the audio still come out of your monitors/speakers.
Does it work on xdj-xz?
do the have one power adapter for android
It's one of the main reasons I stick with mixxx. I click broadcast and I am live. Supports shoutcast and icecast 1 or 2 protocols. mp3 or opus (if your audio card 48kHz sample rate, because opus is 48kHz only).
Hi Pri yon Joni,
This vid is super helpful to me but I just want to know can you use the master out instead of the booth out from the controller?
Thanks in advance.
yes, you can do that as well!
hello i have the irig stream and so also need an adapter which one is that can you message me that
Where did you get the power supply for the Irig? Also what is the power needed? Thanks for the great content and help.
It's available on their website or B&H
Is something like this available for Android?
Thanks for this video.
Anyone knows if it's possible to use djm-rec & iRig stream at the same time? Plug in lighting and 3,5mm jack cables.
I do regularly streamings from venues (not home/studio) using djm-rec app, connected to iPhone 6S. But now I would like to plug a micro and also record my set without my comments.
Probably I need to think about to get the iRig stream instead of DJM, isn't it?
For me, it’s not limiting at all. Before I joined Pioneer DJ, I was extremely picky with jog wheels. Not to bash on any other manufacturer, but I could never musically bond with any other jog wheel or moving platter. Like I bonded with my EVH guitar, the iterations of the Pioneer DJ jog wheel helped me play my best. My first viral video was doing the Peter Piper routine on the DDJ-SB2. It’s actually exciting to be a consultant because you get to hear what people want and looking for and take it straight to the makers. With that said, I literally have a list of 78 video ideas I haven’t produced yet. And the list grows faster than I can pump them out.
I can do this for ig?
Great video! Is it possible to stream live with Zoom using the Pioneer app?
No the DJM-REC can only be used with the apps it lists. However you can use the iRig Stream with any video or stream app on your smartphone.
If you just want to stream music from a laptop like Spotify or RUclips music will come out to the speakers and the same setup correct?
You don’t need this device if you’re just going to stream from your phone. This is for broadcast live-stream. Not playback streaming.
But if you plug that in then how do I hear it?
Do you need a split rca cable so I can still plug into my home speakers?
No body seems to have covered that point???
You can use your master output for your speakers, and your booth output to the iRig. Unless you have an entry level DJ controller. Then you'll have to use the headphone output of the irig and route it to speakers as a "thru".
So I have. DDJ1000 and wanna stream to twitch… what was the cable I needed to be placed between the Irig and the BOOTH. I presume the booth is the way it should be connected?
If you have an irig stream, you need a pair of quarter inch to RCA
@@priyonjoni and use these in the booth??
Do you know if you do a reel or remix in Instagram with the iRig stream on an iPhone, does it record in mono or stereo?
On older iPhones it records mono. On newer iPhones (I think anything 10 and beyond) it records stereo.
I'm trying to stream out in the surrounding neighborhoods in the parks without electricity is there a way to use the irigstream without a power cord?
Without the power supply it will draw power from your mobile device. Best to stream using an iPad for its large battery capacity.
@@priyonjoni i looking into a interface that can do both dc power and usb it's the Steinberg UR12 & UR22mkll if you want to look into them and let me know what you think you know I'm all ears...
hello! what about the flx4 that only has the rca input 🤔 i mean, i would like to use speakers that have rca output
DDJ-FLX4 allows you to capture the audio and stream from the same computer you’re DJing from.
As far as the output goes, you can split the rca signal, or use the headphone output of the irig as a “thru” with a TRS 1/8th inch to RCA.
@@priyonjoni oh i see, thanks a lot!!!
I used the booth out on my controller to I rig but no sound in the live stream
Did you turn the booth output volume knob on?
Very good a take the irig HD2 but dont charge my phone the irig scream chargr the batterie iPhone thant you very mutch.
So I have static when I stream using a lightning cable splitter to charge my phone, how do I remove the static??
Make sure you’re using an Apple dongle. Some of the copies sold online cause noise.
@@priyonjoni yeah I’m using the official Apple dongle splitter… which kinda sucks ngl lol
Great info. Any ideas how to build an online audience or is it a case of patients ??
Make music, and find folks who enjoy it.
What about using a mixer with a interface to the IPhone apparently it’s possible.
That’s exactly what the iRig Stream does.
If I record video with the irig to my iPhone, will the audio be mono or stereo?
Depends on the iPhone. My old iPhone 6, it recorded mono. On my iPhone 12 it records stereo.
@@priyonjoni how can I find out how each model records? I have an iPhone XR. Just trial and error?
I really don’t know. My best guest, if your phone has stereo speakers it’s possible it has a stereo audio input. But best way to find out is to try.
@@priyonjoni from what I found online, anything over iOS 14 should be stereo. Thanks!
need a review on the irig 2 for controller
I don’t recommend it. IRig 2 is mono only because it’s made for use with a guitar.
@@priyonjoni ok what u recommend then?
The one in the video.
@@priyonjoni ok
I don't understand why my iPhone 8 won't connect to iRig
Check if it works when you open the camera app and set it to video. The irig doesn't engage unless video is work. So that means, until you are live, the irig will not light up.
Is it only audio no video?
Your phone takes care of the video.
The only issue I have is you can't use it for Android phones. Not everyone uses the iPhone and companies like Pioneer DJ and IK Multimedia should realize that. Personally, I use 2 cams and my laptop to live stream.
The issue with Androids is that developing for their devices is not as straight forward as on iOS devices. What works for one device might completely not work for another. This is the nature of the Android operating system. They are not consistent on different devices. However, while the DJM-REC app is not available for Android, you can use the iRig Stream on your Android device with no problem.
NO Love for XPS and Galaxy Note 10 users LOL most DJs think ONLY Macs are great for Professional DJs LOL have never had a single issue with my XPS 15 for way less than an over priced Mac Book LOL
At no point in this video did it say you had to use a Mac. And the iRig works on Android as well.
Unfortunately Android user... ☹️
The iRig Stream works with Android
If only they could include Twitch.
What about android phones? Yeah sorry folks!
