Glad to help Brandon, just a note if you mean the Traktor Audio 2 we actually made an error - it won't work for this purpose

I will give this a try thank..from Trinidad and Tobago..I need one of that book as well

so I can use the irig stream into my pioneer ddi sb3 and into my Mac book or Desktop to get clear sound on facebook live?
thank you for the video, i have an issue when i connect everything i have a clipping sound no music, what could be the reason and how can i fix that?
What do you mean by "connect everything"? What gear are you using?
I've actually just bought a numark DJ2go2 mixer and downloaded serato lite as I have bugger all else to do at home.... I'm on lockdown with my mum and son...... been a raver since the nineties and always fancied giving it a go.... cost me 45 quid on ebay and i've already set my software up with 1000 tunes within dnb and old skool genre. luckily there are loads of tutorials on the basics with that mixer on here and i've learned so much by just watching youtube. hoping in six months by the time life starts to resume that my skills will be brilliant.... LOL
Awesome, have fun :)
One thing to mention though is that you can send a perfect live audio/video stream out from the host site using a stable wired connection but variables at the recipient sites could deteriorate listening/viewing experience
Phil rockin that 2020 IDGAF look aka the wino special! LOVE IT :-)

Thanks!
Hi great video, will the irig stream work going out of a booth output aswell as having my normal sound through regular speakers
Yes
Great video bro
Thanks Eliseo!
I have Traktor 3 on pc and using Houseparty streaming through my iPad. I am also using Traktor Audio 10 and my mixer is Pioneer DJM-600. I have Rode SC4 adapter but struggling to find what connections I should be using with my Rode SC4. Sound coming from monitor or master from my mixer or from Traktor Audio 10?
Is the IRIG2 needed to High Quality stream with the Denon Prime setup Phil or anyone. Mixer Should work Right USB?
We like the iRig Stream, a decent audio interface is what you need though yes
My audio interface of choice is the zoom H6 best quality ever and you can also record with it and the unit is portable and works on 4AA batteries if choose ( love it)
Nice one :)
To use proper use , I use adapter & shot gun microphone which pick it ups stereo sound & always wondered how, thanks for solving my problem 👍
Cool, glad to help :)
I'm using RCA to TRRS.
DDJ SX2 to Samsung S10.
Works perfect on Instagram.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing
Today was my 2nd livestream i realize now why people didnt stay much, it sounded like crap lol, thank you for the tips man
No problem Christian, glad to help
Where did you get you twin rca to trs does it have to be mono
Hey, great tutorial! How would you do it with a go pro or a dlrs camera?
Not something we've covered yet but thanks for the suggestion :)
I have a focusrite 2i2, is it possible to use it as an interface to my phone like the ones in the video?
Yes, as long as you use your phone's USB adaptor (like Apple's Camera Connection Kit or equivalent), I'd guess, not tried this one though.
I used an RCA to TRRS cable and it had WAY too much buzz/noise. Not sure where exactly the problem was but I'm ordering that audio interface now...
Can a typical interface be used such as M Audio ??.. thanks👍🏾
It most likely won't work with your phone is the issue, the iRig Stream is a great option :)
Great vid!
I'm currently just using rca cables from pioneer Rx2 , into amp with wire in speakers , and going live on FB via iPad ... the mic sound is terrible when I listen back.....can irig interface go between rx2 and amp , as well as into iPad for quality streaming audio?
The iRig Stream is designed to go straight from your controller to a phone/laptop to stream with :)
When using the headphone input on your phone, you can use the headphone output on your laptop. Just setup your software to route to both your controller and internal sound card. That way you can have a stable level on your recordings and blast your speakers
Please explain which method you're using? The Rode sc4 method? I've tried everything and having no joy, so need to try yours please
Great tips, can you advise what is the video switcher you are using to move between cameras during a Live stream. Many Thanks.
Just a generic bluetooth keypad Sean :)
Does the second method works with the trrs cable? Instead of using the lightning cable?
Not sure what you're asking. The point of an audio interface is to convert an analogue signal to a digital signal so no, once you've done that, you can;t use an analogue cable to pass that signal to the host device. Unless I'm not quite understanding you?
Great video, is is possible to use the Evermix box with your iphone and stream live through twitch? Seems to work well with FB, RUclips and Insta.. Thanks!
Sorry haven't tried it
what level did you adjust after plugging in mic adapter around 10:12 in the video?
It was a mistake - I should have grabbed the master level, not the effect level. The joys of livestreaming! :) Thanks for spotting.
What kind of speakers are those? Do you recommend them for bedroom dj-ing/ livestreaming dj sets?
iLoud Micro Monitors - check out our full review here: www.digitaldjtips.com/reviews/ik-multimedia-iloud-micro/
I have a focusrite Safire 6, can this be used for live streaming audio?
Should be able to
Does it work with a dongle from headphone to lightning jack for newer iPhones?
By the sounds of it no Karl, we haven't tried but most in the community who have are saying it's not
Hi Phil, thank you for your great job. Can you please resume type of leads that are suggested for this conection? In my case I have the XDJ RX 1 so I have 2 outputs. Thank you!
RCA to 3.5mm
@@digitaldjtips Still not working. RCA Master Output 2 to 3.5mm but the sound is not detected, Tried with cell and laptop. Bought and Irig 2 but still can not get sound through. Don't know what else to try :/
thanks, you change my live with this video. I didn't know how to conect my phone for streamings cause i didn't have an output from my mixer.
Glad to help :)
What is the laptop stand used in the video? Great work!!
geni.us/Hm2vgMc :)
I'm wanting to live stream from my Huawei p20, what connections and leads do I need to connect to my denon mc4000 controller please?
The same as is mentioned here, check out the accompanying article: www.digitaldjtips.com/2020/03/2-ways-to-get-great-sounding-audio-on-your-dj-livestreams/ :)
Is there any particular reason you prefer the irig stream compared to the evermix 4?? Is it better in anyway ?
It has more flexibility (for instance, you can attach a mic and sapeakers to it), but they both do the basic job pretty much the same.
Hi there, Had a question - If the audio input is going into my phone with the with the adapter, how can I hear what I'm playing on my end. Sorry for the dumb question.
Did you watch the whole video Vihan we cover it? :) You'll need the iRig Stream which solves that
2 way rca splitter into your decks or u may have a separate booth out on your decks for some external speakers
Has anyone used the Irig Stream with a Huawei P30, or any Huawei?
Hi I have tried the 1st option with a Allen and Heath Qu series desk/Interface into an iPhone 11 and it’s hit and miss though it works with the output levels set correctly. What I would like to do is try the 2nd option via a USB B to lightening, however the A&H QU outputs 18 tracks simultaneously ( 16+ stereo out via usb) would this work presuming I can get a Lightening to USB B. This would be used live live performance instruments as opposed to DJ.
Can you show how you do it with the traktor audio 2 please in detail.
Sorry you can't that was an error
Thank you for this information!!! What is the stand/brand your using for you lap top?
geni.us/Hm2vgMc :)
Thank you so much. However, no delivering to the US appears! But it still gives me an idea! Thanks again!
Great video. What software are you using that allows you to use the remote for your video switcher?
Check out our latest video on this Jamil: ruclips.net/video/qW9AGLN6V8M/видео.html&t :)
Cool vid matey. Really important things to remember when using a phone/pad for live streaming. Always turn off location/sound and bluetooth, and turn on flight mode, but remember to manually turn on your wi-fi ;)
Thanks for additional tips :)
Could I run rca from my controller to powered speaker then use xlr output from speaker to phone using xlr to trs adapter cable?
Haven't tried it, if you do have an output on your speaker that might work
Did it works with focusrite scarlett 2i4 audio interface?
Not to your phone no
Hi Phil, can you please share the steps on how to set this up with the Traktor Audio 2. My setup is DDJ400 so i will need to monitor out to my speakers and stream from my iphone. Thanks for the great tutorial. Cheers
Sorry you can't, that was an error
Great video 👍
Will this work with my Samsung Galaxy s10e It has a different usb cable ?
What exactly? The audio interface solution? If your phone has a USB-C then the iRig Streeam definitely will work with it.
Hey Phil, it would be great to do a video on streaming via OBS. Most laptops these days can handlie running that in the background while using your mixing software of choice. This negates the need for all those cables, since the audio is already being fed in to your laptop. You can use an app like iVCam to then use your phone/tablet to feed the video in to OBS. It's actually quite simple once you set it up a few times.
Agreed - we'll see what we can do :)
Does the Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen USB Audio Interface work with livestreaming? As I am aware that this is used for music production with Logic.
Should do yes
Does the stream work through the computer my digital mixer is plugged in?
sorry, not sure I understand Karl.
can you do a video on your visuals (this one was about the audio). Your camera setup and how to live switch from camera viewpoints
Cool, will see what we can do :)
@@digitaldjtips Phil, thank you for your content that helps so much! for the camera switching, do you just use a numberpad wireless keyboard and have hotkey triggers for your different camera angles? looking to setup something similar! thank you!
Obs studio for different cameras and streaming is the best platform to use
The link you provide takes me to an iRig with an XLR input.
The link in the article? It goes to the iRig Stream in Amazon
good to see u
Thanks!
Great vid... I have an i-rig which essential does the same thing to get the audio into a phone / iPad. Question... the input into a phone etc is mono, fine. But you are taking both L and R outputs from your source. Are they mixed into mono or are you only sending the L ‘OR’ R channel into the device?
You should be getting a mono mix
Hi Phil, this is really helpful. I wanted to know if i can use the second method with djio2 audio interface numark?
Should do
@@digitaldjtipsThank you, really appreciate that. What cables, jack or adapters will i require in that case?
Thank you. How does this work from an iPhone 11 that has no headphone jack? what lead do I need that has a microphone capacity in?
You'd just need an adapter to connect the SC4 to your phone but it sounds like it's not working for a lot of people doing it that way, method two (iRig Stream) would be a better option
Can I use the yorkville PGM8 as interface to IOS device.
Sorry never used it
Just picked up the Pioneer DDJ-1000 with rekordbox. The iRig Stream is sold out everywhere. Any other recommendations? Roland GO mixer? Any help works
Yes the Roland GO :)
Hi there , On Friday I used the first method , was fine but I’d like a good digital sound. After seeing this video I’ve looked up the irig stream. Does it come with mini usb for Android also does phone charge when it’s plugged in ? Also do I need to buy power lead ?
There's an optional power supply so you can charge your device whilst streaming, check the website out for all the details and what's in the box: www.ikmultimedia.com/products/irigstream/ :)
I tried Rode SC4, but I could hear myself through phone mic. I bought iRig2 and its working flawless!
Awesome :)
Do you get good quality audio ? I have an irig too, the quality is better than using the mobile's mic but still not good like the pros...I am desperate for a solution
@@Galaxylight78 Its not the highest quality as possible, but I'm satisfied with it. There is this mid-hi frequenzy humming type of sound when music is not played trough it tho. Kinda annoying.
Hi, not related to live streaming but the are the rca splitters on this video good for a DDJ-RB running into a booth monitor and main speakers with the spare outputs
They’ll work, for sure.
I just use my record out of my mixer 2x rca to single in my mic input on my desktop and my desktop has the cam and obs software which is stream from. i not sure if its in mono but the sound quality sounds great ive done this with my traktor s4 mk3 as well. both djm850 and the s4 has internal sound cards so does this mean it should come out in stereo. or could this method be improved.
Nice one :)
What up everybody this its Your boy Dr Funk Juice. I am very happy to see a lot DJ's to take this serious since this lock down. I been doing live streaming since 2010 from The Present. Back when I was DJ on Tiny Chat, U stream to Live Stream you name it. Now it's been a lot upgrades from all of us who been doing Live Streaming our very own eyes from apps you can use and some other websites you can use it really brings a good warm heart to me as a Bed Room/Live Stream Pro DJ as you may call it lol.
DJ's paid close attention to this helpful Tuesday tips also look at your options when you go live on the apps or website platforms you can start connect with your viewer audience its going to be a lot coming soon that it will be something for all of US Dj's who going make big things popping and don't you worry once every thing get in settled you might as well call this as your side hustle :D.
Shout to Digital DJ Tips family I will share this out with my fellow DJ's I told them about the Irig Stream it really does the trick while you charge your phone its really its handy and it packs a punch when you use it and *I Rig 2* to the *I Rig Pro Duo* as well.
Also ask around who been doing live streaming DJing for a while like me if you having trouble contact me if is cool you can hit me up inside the comments I will try to replay back asap. Keep up the work and we will get through this togethere everybody.
Funk Up Salute Fleetdjs Suckafree DJ Peace.
I have a question instead of using my phone to live stream. I want to use my laptop how can I get good auido while my controller is plugged in?
@@TkoBallerx I use the IRig Pro Duo or you can get the Irig Stream they have a UBS Plug so u can record on it as well just a option
@@TkoBallerx ruclips.net/video/ICedoi8ymRk/видео.html also check this out by DJ City as well I didn't check it out but I hope this helps out
Great Video. I was looking at the IRig2 and was wondering if this will work as well for going live? There seems to be little to no difference between the IRig Stream and the IRig 2 is actually newer and half the price.
We haven't reviewed the iRig 2, it's an audio interface so should work similarly
That is also something i am questioning. I currently use the irig 2 , the audio is better than using the mobile's mic, though not good enough like the pros, making people leave my streams. My question is will the irig stream sound like the pros or not? Its a lot of money to throw away
@@Galaxylight78 I am in the league as you, The irig 2 sounds a bit off, it’s way better than the phone mic but I don’t find it to be as good as other streamers. The irig stream can do stereo output, but my concern is once live on fb etc... will it only support mono? As I think the irig 2 is mono and that’s why the sound isn’t great.
I have a Focusrite audio interface, should this work? I couldn't seem to get the audio to go to my phone.
Probably not with a phone, something like the iRig Stream is a really great option that phone use
See if you stream through an iPad using for example a reloop mixon 4 will the audio already be clear as it all works through the iPad ?
Yes but you may struggle to get streaming software working on the same iPad as djay Pro - I have neve trired this so can't comment, would love to know how you get on!
Digital DJ Tips I’ll give it a go and let you know mate cheers
What do you recommend for a DJM 750MK1? Tried a lot of options and they haven't worked
Get the iRig Stream :)
Cheers
Thanks for watching
watching from kenya
Thanks Tony!
will this work with I Rig pre mic interface ?
Should do but we've only tried the iRig Stream
So if I have a Reloop DVS 90, do I still need any of these devices? Because I have a cable that is connected to my laptop to be able to use DVS, but I'm not sure if it will let me record?
Not if you want to stream from the same laptop - ready the article, I mention the apps that you can get for your computer that can "hijack" the audio and feed it to your OBS or other streaming software.
Looking forward for a dedicated session on streaming via zoom
We'll see what we can do :)
Does the iRig pick up the sound of your voice? Would I need a mic to speak into when using the interface? An interface that needs a driver installed wouldn't work on tablets and Iphones I assume. I'm guessing the iRig is a specialized plug and play product for that type of technology?
Not it doesn't, it has a mic input, yes it is - it's plug and play
do i need a line input in my audio interface? or will line output suffice?
An audio interface will have both an input and and an output
Hi thank you for this informative video. Have you got any tips on using a pioneer ddj-200 Live streaming please, it doesn't have any audio outputs it runs through a tablet or a pc. I would prefer to use it on a tablet. Thank you for your time. Simon 👍
We haven't at the moment, a few people have asked so if we get time we'll look into it
How would you do it with the traktor interface????
Sorry you can't Carlos that was an error
Thank you for your excellent run-through! I've tried your hacked cable method and settled on a slightly altered version where instead of my phone in using a USB microphone which the cable goes into. It works for picking up sound, but I get a lot of cable noise and lower volumes. Any idea how to remove this on OBS?
Sorry no, better quality audio is the answer and that'll be achieved with an audio interface
@@digitaldjtipsThank you very much for responding, will upgrade to that I think when I improve a bit. Managed to actually improve it, (different computer seemed to help). In OBS you can tweak the recording level and you can essentially mute the background noise using the volume indicator. A botch, but I can now record! Thanks for giving me the tips to start recording!
Hello, I was wondering if I could use my Serato SL3 box as a hack to stream?
Yes, you should be able to. Plug your controller into one of the deck "inputs" then set the Serato box as the audio input on your laptop streaming software.
Using the Sc4 adaptor to iPhone works for me but the audio is really poor quality, tried using both my controller and laptop as the outputs respectively and both the same outcome, any suggestions? Thanks for your videos, very helpful :)
Best thing to do is opt for method 2 and get an audio interface instead Matt
I have been using iRig for years, awesome interface, I started with the first one the iRig guitar interface, but I don't used it anymore, I currently use iRig 2 and iRig HD for streaming and they work great, I haven't try this iRig Stream yet, but I will, thx for the info!
No problem Ron!
Hi Ron, I got the Irig 2 and when I stop playing a track I always get a loud background noise, how can I remove it? Thank you in advance.
@@maxrusso1989 Hi Max, if you are getting background sound is because is getting thru the mic on your cell or table, in this case try a different cable adapter (TRS)
@@maxrusso1989 remember that some cell or tablets use TRS others use TRRS
Hi thanks for the videos, very informative.
Just a quick one. I was streaming today on Facebook with my phone. My audio was perfect till 30 min or so. Then it just deteriorated
Any incite on this ?
Sorry no idea on that one
Great vid! I picked up all the recommended products (TRS-TRRS, 3.5mm to 2-male RCA) but still the iPhone records with the built-in mic. I use a Pioneer DJM 600. I tried running the lines from Master out, booth monitor and REC out. What am I missing?
Potentially nothing, this is a hack and doesn't work for everyone (thankfully it's cheap to try), something like the iRig Stream (method 2) is going to be the solution
I had this same issue with an iPhone. Tried it with an Android device and it worked fine. Mojaxx also has a video where he says he tried this on an older iPhone (5s) and it worked.
Liking that laptop stand. Where can I purchase?
geni.us/Hm2vgMc :)
I use the DJM REC app with my iPhone 7 and DJM750mk2 and my lighting cable. Also have disputed copyright flags from Facebook and they eventually get cleared under fair usage as it’s a DJ set...plus I have a ProDub license for using digital music for performance
Oh nice one :)
How do you do that how can I stream without getting flagged?
Which lens do you guys use on the 6400 and 6500? The 16mm 1.4f lens?
We have 4 Alpha DSLRS, using the kit 16-50 on two of them, Sony Prime 35mm on one, a Sigma Prime 30mm on another, and the Sony 20mm pancake lens on the fourth. We also have a telephoto and a wide angle for when we need them.
