Hi Phil, I’ve followed for a while and finally found time to put some of your tutorials into practice. I stayed up until 4am this morning looking for a tutorial you posted a while back. I’m sure it was a streaming tutorial but not of the ones currently on here? My question, what is the little gadget you use to switch cameras?

If someone was doing an outdoor event what kind of outdoor or indoor generator power what he use?
I saw people having good results for other applications with the EGO products, they do mainly gardening things but have 10Ah batteries and a "generator" where you can plug 4. But it's really expensive.
Just some feedback to my comments. From last night. I’ve updated the firmware on my XZ to 1.12 and now my rode SC4 is working. Both link and usb sound sources both Working fine and recording audio fine. With “booth” at around 11oclock

Hello I have a question, if I wanna stream to Instagram using this method ( no copyright content) how do I add Instagram to larix broadcaster ? I can't find the URL of my stream .
Great video as usual Phil. Will uploading a 2 min video clip onto Facebook be taken down the same way as a livestream is treated?
Hard to say, if it's a 2 minute clip all of the same song then most likely - if it's a small highlight reel quickly chopping to different tracks you'll probably get away with it
Is there a holder for your phone that you can recommend to clip on to a desk, a rig or even the side of a tv instead of using the tripod? Only ask as it will be to get the best angle possible given that my home dj setup is positioned facing a wall!

Is NDI only for iPhones?
NDI is a video-over-ethernet/WiFi protocol that potentially works with anything ethernet/WiFi enabled.

Tried going live but no sound coming through Larix on Twitch. Looks as if there is sound coming through the app but no luck.. I must be missing something. Any ideas?
So must be an issue with Larix.. some setting not configured properly as Streamlabs app had sound..
On more ?... I already use a Presonus Audiobox audio interface for radio recording. Could I somehow connect this to my phone instead of purchasing another audio interface?
With the right adaptor I'm sure it could, hard to say without trying it
So I purchased the evermix 4 , the microphone, and the stand and I'm ready to go. One problem though, im trying to live stream on either bigo live or twitch and I cannot find on either site where the stream info and stream key are to be able to set it up under the new connections page if Larix Broadcaster.
I can't find any RUclips videos on how to do this and am now completely stuck with $150 worth of equipment and no clue how to use it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is simpler than the iRig. This video is about the simplest way to go live. In truth, they are both audio interfaces, and there are others too - anything to get the signal in will do.

I've gotten the SC4 and the jack to lightning adapter, but when i start my broadcast, it's still taking the audio from the phone camera and not the line in! Any ideas ? using iphone pro max 12
Sometimes it is finicky. You could try changing the ORDER you plug in the adaptor and launch the app - that sometimes helps.
How will the streaming software work on RUclips ?
It works. Just get the RTMP and stream key.

How do you use the SL3 BOX to live stream
Haven't tried it but you would just use it as an audio interface, hook your gear up to it and if it's available select it as the input in whatever software you're streaming with
I have a big problem that I can't fix. I want to stream with my phone on IG. I bought the Evermix box 4. It let's me record audio and the audio is perfect! But as soon as I stream on Instagram the sound gets very distorted. I have no idea why. I use an Android phone Huawei p30 pro. Do you have any idea why this is the case? The Evermix app doesn't let me stream on IG from the app. I have been trying different things for weeks now. I also tried using a TRS to TRRS but that doesn't work at all.
Like I said, any tips are more than welcome... No idea from this point...

I downloaded Mixcloud and it has no live button. It also doesn’t have anything I can buy for pro. It only offers the ability to listen offline for a few. The tea yo tres dongle didn’t work rather and the Larix broadcaster doesn’t work for anything else but going live on a url. I want to do mixes for my Snapchat friends. None of the things you offered work. The only thing I haven’t tried is the ever mix box which will take me a while to get so I’m outta luck on all of these options. Is there anything else to try. I have louder results just using my phone microphone. The only downfall on using that mix is you can hear me pressing buttons. I’ll just go back to doing that
Larix Broadcaster allows yo to go live on Mixcloud. You sign up for a Pro account on the Mixcloud website, then enter the stream key and server URL Mixcloud provides into Larix Broadcaster.
Hi Phil, I've been livestreaming via a horrendous laptop mic/camera so bought the evermix pack and larix broadcaster app to try it that way instead but cannot get it to work for love nor money to either mixcloud or restream. Tried pretty much every setting. Anyone know of a troubleshooter online? Managed to get video coming through at one point without sound... Sound bar on the larix app is going up and down inline with decks so it's got the right input...

mine doesnt work my evermix 4 out of the booth of my numark scratch mixer,it records in the app but i get no sound off facebook live,,what am i doing wrong please?
Not sure, sounds like an issue with whatever app you're using to go live to Facebook with.

Not sure if anyone can help. I've setup the same with the Evermix 4 and Larix Broardcaster streaming to Twitch using an iPhone 8. Done a few previous using the Twitch app and phone mic which worked ok. The issue I'm having after recording in Larix it uploads ok (not publishing at this stage). The video looks and plays fine but there's no audio. Both the Larix app and the Evermix app are recognizing the Evermix input, and I'm able to record and playback on the Evermix app. So both apps appear to be receiving the audio and the level meters are moving on both. In the Larix app in settings the audio settings are at there defaults. Wondering if they need to be changed or what they should be. Any help appreciated.

I was experiencing the same issue and using nearly identical hardware & software. Tried using Streamlabs app instead of Larix and sound worked… 🤷🏻♂️
I don’t know why. My rode SC4 method works with my old DJM800 pioneer set up. But doesn’t work with my newer set ups like traktor S3 or my XDJ-XZ. It just doesn’t capture the sound and the test is the clicking of my fingers. If you can hear that it’s not working.
Soooo I had to create a third party sound card called soundflower.
Nightmare. Because this means you can only live feed from your Mac /pc. Where as with the rode SC4 which is a cracking little adapter as it was so easy to just plug straight into your phone or iPad.
I’d love to feedback on this if someone has had same issue.
My old mixers I have it’s all good. I just come out of booth and boom. Nice quality sound.
But my new mixers and controllers it just does not work. So my only option is internal sound capture using third party softwares then running them into OBS.

Yes this is quite a few DJs experience, seems to work with some setups and not with others. An audio interface is really the best option but quite a bit more expensive for a decent one
Yes. I think that’s the way to go.
My TRS to TRRS is working, however its too loud and clipping occurs.. 😭
Turn down the input. You need your input low as this is a microphone input, not a line input.

I get this problem on iPhone after having double checked the username and password are correct.
Try using the evermix app mate I found i way better for streaming
