Much of the corruption in ODDer Creek has happened in Town Hall
BUT the Town Hall meetings the past few months have been canceled due to no shows or walk outs
During the March meeting, someone could not attend so it was cancelled
But Don The Con still showed up and was furious that Russ The Suss was not there
The April meeting proved to be just as insane when Don The Con told Jeremy to "shut up" AND Russ The Suss went missing

Where I am from it’s illegal to leave an unattended child in a vehicle. PERIOD
My biggest concern about a child being in a running vehicle is someone stealing the vehicle not realizing a child is in the back. I've seen to many cop shows that show that outcome. Super sad.
I lived in an HOA comprised of 2085 homes. A few residents held the rest of us hostage. With four million dollar service providers, e.g. security, landscaping, management and cable. We tirelessly walked for signatures from apathetic and ignorant residents. The more we investigate6d the more issues and mismanagement we uncovered. If you think Jeremy is being heavy-handed, he is NOT. These individuals stole funds, services, and futures of bus.business owners. That poor sweet child's well-being is at a development level that she might not recover from. The good citizens have lived thru drug trafficking. Where there are drugs there is crime. Jeremy might be fanning the flames, but he is an agent for change and puts his money on the line to give all residents a hopfilled future.

When Don completed his Form 6 he was probably using the 2022 assesed valuation for his home. The County most likely did not have the 2023 valuation posted yet on the website. He may have been using the value listed on his last tax bill. The assessed valuation is however different than the Fair Market Value of the property. For my own property the assessed value 3.33% of the Fair Market Value.
I can't believe anyone would be willing to fill that form out.
Why didn't the person who took those pictures of the child in the car call the police. Or did they?
My Dad left his car while he ran in to pay for his diesel. It was stolen while he was at the checkout. Anything can happen in a split second. A childs life is too valuable to take the risk.

That Form 6 seems like a nightmare. Could you imagine if you forgot to list a collectible or a family heirloom that was over $1,000 in value. Then someone that hates you reports it to the state and they audit you. I'd be like "I'm going for a position that pays $100 a month. I'm not trying to hide anything." LOL, that form is crazy.
When it comes to Don's real estate I doubt seriously if they would say that he lied. Real Estate values change daily. I'm not taking up for him but most people know that your property value changing all the time. Now if it was a huge number difference then they would be concerned.
I think his taxes are a way of verifying what he has

I've been watching for years and, this is my first comment. I know your heart is in the right place. When I watched the video of the game and fish officer and, the "child" was present. It broke my heart. She is so starved for attention. I've seen a lot in my life. That got to me. She should be enjoying the early years of her life.

Jeremy, there is an old saying I grew up with that I feel fits this segment. It is directed to Ms. Mott, and Don the Con. That being, "what a wicked web we weave, when we first practice to deceive". Just my opinion. Life Lessons are sometimes learned through hard knocks. It fits the two of them here...
Jeremy the pastor at the church where my husband and I got married said virtually the same thing you said about marriage. He said the wedding rings have no meaning when it comes to being married. He said you don't need rings, marriage licenses or the ceremony to be married. All those things are societal things. Dr. Eppinger is a great man (I hope he is still living, my husband and I have been married for 40 yrs) and I really like him. He left the church because God called him to do missionary work so we haven't seen him for years.
The form 6 is moronic. If an item (e.g. car) is leased it's not owned, therefore NOT YOUR ASSET. You are paying the owner to use it, but ownership remains with the lessor.
I agree this form is very intrusive! It is no ones business! I may not like what Don the con has been doing, but IMO Florida has gone too far and Don should not have had to fill such a thing out. No one in OC should! 😮😮😮

Discrepancies in values could be due to increase in from the time Don looked up value and the time you looked up the value. Maybe increase came after Jan 1.
If I want a good listener I'll go to my church. When it comes to politicians , I don't want a listener ,I want someone with actions . Frankly, I'm tired of listening to any and all politicians it's time we see the work being done . Otter Creek council has been talking about the water for close to , if not, more than 20 years.Enough is enough action is what the people need . To bragg that you are on the commission before for 4 years ,and water is still undrinkable . That's a good reason for me not to vote for you. Think about it look at what the commissioners in Flint , Michigan did to their people

Couldn't the property discrepancies just be an update in the tax records since he filed his paperwork? Those small amounts are hardly worth hiding
Surely Levy County does not intend for applicants to use assessed real estate values on form 6. They are for tax purposes only not the actual value of a home or property.

And I need to make this clear, also. I am FOR the “NO BUILD” in our county. I do not want to see homes, ranches, farms and agriculture land get demolished. What I do want to see is roads widening, more safety precautions. Working with county for our county roads and DOT with our state roads.
There are RUclips channels that show people getting arrested for leaving a child in the car. Seen one recently where they were in FL. The car gets too hot and the child could die. An adult should know better!!!

I live in the county of San Diego since 1962. I work all over San Diego and am on the move in and around all over the County, City and in Unincorporated areas of San Diego.
I can tell you that the places in the small town corporate areas end up getting help depending on agreements with county. Also, depends on the type of help needed. They have issues with dogs and other animals like Otter Creek!
Nuisance drug dealing and addicts, trash properties, and gun activities and domestic violence, etc.
Not unlike some of the issues I have heard you, Jeremy and George, speak about.

I agree Jeremy & FORM 6 is a no win for the person having to fill it out. The form is a Govt Failure of Economics 101… continued fluctuations of…”Appreciation & Depreciation of Assets”!! Honestly, Not only is it an invasion of privacy but puts the person at risk of becoming a target:- for fines, criminals, govt, etc.
I don't think that Don got $1200 in 2023. Russ canceled at least one meeting last year.

Don’s form was put into the system in January and his properties may have gone up in value in the last 3-4 months and that would be why there is a discrepancy in amounts maybe

The discrepancy on the house itself could easily be explained by the difference in time between when he filled out the form and when info was updated on the website.
However completely leaving off the other properties is a violation.

Although people are often surprised by information that's available online. But actually most of it was already publicly available at the town or county office, and then the town or county website. Property is the simplest one. Go online for whatever county, and for each address you can easily find the owner, assessed value, and income tax.
Corruption is across the board on all sides! It's TIME to OPEN up the BOOKS on ALL government employees and agencies for a little FORENSIC ACCOUNTING/AUDITING!!!!
Form 6 is crazy because if you under value your items in your house just imagine having a natural disaster or house fire.... insurance is going to love the form 6 estimate. And since that person filled it out how could you fight the insurance against your own words....

You can find the property tax on any property. Usually property tax under value your property.

This form 6 is just wrong.😮i was on the school board years ago and i can tell you i would not list my bank account amounts or income and assets. Florida you need to demand this "law" be removed!
Trying to make sense out of the senseless. Unincorporation is the most logical and sane decision to make. For the potable water issue alone. And, hopefully, to stop the corruption of the current thin resources.
