It is also entirely possible that he had drug problems but that the cop's actions did lead to his death, There was absolutely no reason the cop needed to keep him on the ground after he was cuffed. I don't care what drugs he had in his system. The cop needed to call EMT's if he said he couldn't breath, worst case they would've said he is fine and the would have wasted some time. It's not like the whole movement was about just george floyd, it was about this kind of treatment being normal in a lot of cases. Not to mention if he had a "lethal" dose of fentynal in his system, he woudn't have been walking around doing anything. The cop was in the wrong even if he didn't intend to kill him.

    1. Cop asked Floyd multiple times to show his hands/show is other hand before drawing his gun.
    2. Woman who is in the car with Floyd tells Floyd to stop resisting. Floyd`s two friends were cordial with the cops in comparison to Floyd.
    3. First time I heard Floyd say "I cant breath" was when he was in the cop car before the knee on neck.
I need to refresh my memory because I havent watched it since it was published back in Q4 2020. Video Leak Police I think was the channel I saw it on.

After reviewing the body cam footage. It was clear George Floyd was on drugs. They asked him and George said no, and his behavior continued to say otherwise. He kicked himself out the back of the backseat of the squad car they tried to put him in and The officers on site messed up when he kept saying he couldn’t breathe. He wasn’t a threat in terms of harming the officers. They searched him and there were 6 officers to one suspect. Totally outnumbered. No reason to not readjust him. Sit him up and let him sit on the pavement and calm down. It was not a good situation all around. People who try to say George was a saint are wrong, and people who say the officer was a saint is wrong too.

2:38 it's insane to me that people who have such an important voice in culture like Rogan haven't actually seen the full video yet speak on these important matters without thinking twice... Floyd was definitely resisting arrest. In fact they tried multiple times to put him in the back of the police vehicle after he was handcuffed and he was kicking and screaming the entire time. Keep in mind, this is a BIG, strong man who was under the influence of hard drugs and god knows what else that these guys had to keep under control Had he not resisted, he wouldn't have been on the ground at all. Here's some facts:
When the cops approached Floyd, he immediately started going into panic mode.
In the BWC footage, you could see Floyd put something into his mouth (drug users and dealers swallow their product all the time to avoid arrest). Thiis footage was kept out during trial.
Floyd began screaming to his mother as soon as he was taken out of the car.
Floyd said that he couldn't breathe as soon as he was confronted by the police.
The amount of fentanyl in his system was a lethal dose for most people.
One of Floyd's arteries had a 75% blockage and he had issues with his heart.
Floyd was pulled over a year prior to his death, and he made the same claims about not being able to breathe.
The technique that the officer used to detain Floyd (knee on back/shoulder) was, in fact, taught to departments around the country prior to the incident in question. During the officer's trial, the use of force training manual that showed this technique wasnt allowed into evidence.
Floyd was a career criminal that once held a gun to a pregnant woman's belly during a robbery.
Many criminals say things very similar to what floyd was saying that day. Cops become very desensitized to it.
Optics and fear of public backlash sent Chauvin to prison... he didn't kill anyone.

This debate is what's wrong with the modern world. Debating whether it's murder to let an overdosing drug addict go untreated (no Narcan) by non-medical personnel while medical personnel are en route. Saying we don't know if the drugs killed him is on equal footing with we don't know if the cops killed him, yet with fires burning around the court house we had a "trial" where any jury finding a different outcome would certainly have seen the mob at their house the day a not guilty verdict was handed out.

If he couldn't breathe, then how was he able to keep saying he couldn't breathe for several minutes while on the ground? Funny thing about being unable to breathe is eventually the lungs are starved of air, which is necessary for speaking. Like how coughing is not a symptom of choking because to cough air must be able to move through the lungs. The full body cam video shows Floyd upright in a vehicle complaining that he can't breathe well before he was placed on the ground, likely due to complications he was having from the drugs found in his system. Body cam footage also showed that the cops' knee was not in a position where it would keep Floyd from breathing (more on the shoulder blade than the lungs), this why he was able to continue speaking for minutes while in the ground. He was panicking because he was having trouble breathing from the drugs in his system, not from being on the ground with someone leaning on his shoulder blade. Those are the facts of the situation the powers that be don't want you to know.

And the issue was not kneeling on his neck, it was putting him chest down and kneeling on his back. Don't believe me? Have your friend do it to you. He was already in distress, putting him in that position exacerbated it. And before you give me any nonsense quibbles, remember that he knelt on an unresponsive man for 6 minutes. While a crowd of people begged him to let him up. If he had, and g had died of an overdose, nothing would have come of it. I have quite a few things to say on this. The prosecution's job is to prove beyond a shadow of doubt. If there is a sense of doubt with drugs being in Floyd's system, then you cannot say with absolute certainty that Chauvin is at fault for the death of Floyd, or at the very least that Chauvin is guilty of murder. The people that support Chauvin may support him 100 %, or they may come from where I do, in that the court did not prove that Chauvin committed 2nd degree murder. The prosecution failed and the judge and jury were swayed by public opinion and the threat of violence. From what was seen, police did try to accommodate Floyd, while Floyd passively time and time again resisted arrest. He got into a vehicle then exited the vehicle. It was after he continued to resist that police asked him to go down to the ground. When a suspect is cuffed they either have to comply, which Floyd refused to do, or you have to be held. Everyone saw the second video where Floyd appeared to be held down with a neck restraint. Nobody acknowledges what put Floyd in that position from the beginning.

You can't just go back in time and bring up someone's entire history, just to show that they weren't angels. What about the rest of us citizens who aren't perfect? At what point is a police officer not allowed to brutalize us?

I love how everybody gets worked up about this like they knew that man. The only reason people would get so worked up about someone they didn't know is they felt very strongly about what happened because either they are pro police, pro black or anti police or anti black. One of the four. And you are so much one of the four that the whole situation works you up into a tizzy. If this is the case you are the problem.

i DONT THINK YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON. ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH THE RIOTS THAT WERE CAUSED, THE DAMAGES THEY CAUSED, THE INJURIES? ITS NOT JUST "THERES A VIEWPOINT, LETS MOVE ON." THE ISSUE IS THAT THERE ARE REPROCUSSIONS TO THE VIEWS AND PROPOGANDA THEY PUSH OUT MIXING TRUTH AND LIES IN ORDER TO INSIGHT PEOPLE TO RIOT TO OVERTHROW A SYSTEM AND CAUSE CHAOS, NOT TO TRY AND CORRECT THINGS, OR ADDRESS REAL ISSUES. THEY USE THE SITUATION TO DISRUPT ORDER AND TRY AND GET THEIR AGENDA THROUGH AND TO MANIPULATE SIMPLE PEOPLE WHO ACCEPT WHAT THEY ARE TOLD INSTEAD OF LOOKING AT FACTS AND MAKIN THEIR OWN DECISION.

My favorite thing is when someone tries to debunk the argument by cherry-picking one of many facts, while ignoring the rest of the argument, that the guy already had a heart condition, was panicking, was claiming he couldn't breathe before the police even restrained him, and wasn't found to have died of asphyxia in the autopsy report as most of the people brainwashed by the initial media reports seem to believe.

This is from the trial and bodycam footage. He said he couldnt breathe and begged for his mom for over 20 mins while they tried to get him in the car. He was repeating the same thing while wheezing as soon as they got cuffs on him. They asked him what he took, no response
These are facts. He had over the average lethal dose of fentanyl (for a non addict) and also high levels (but not deadly often) of a fentanyl derivative. Also had reasonably high levels of meth. He had a badly enlarged heart and likely didnt know, while also having a pretty bad rap sheet with the cops knowing him and practicing standard police procedure in that city. The knee was not on the neck....sadly his own and their actions resulted in his death and i would put george floyds own as by fair the main causes
What scares me is how "trusted media sources" entertainers, politicians ran an obvious jaded side of the story almost as if to promote the over two years of mayhem caused and supported by those same ppl (blm, 2 billion in damages, many, many deaths and defunding of police which led to horrible ramifications for crime victims, complete demoralization of cops (think about when lebron james openly threatens you on twitter. Which happened) its that second part that ppl should be looking into
