I'm getting my hair loc'd in a week, and you're a major inspiration to me taking such a decision. I've watched this video close to 10 times, and with the amount of content I've watched on locs, i think I'm fit to be a loctician
Locking my hair is best decision ever I spend less than 5 minutes arranging my hair in the morning. Really numbering my days. Lol. I don't look 'ugly' in the morning like in my wig and weave-on days. Expenses cut down tremendously. Headaches reduced. Less energy spent deciding what new hairstyle to do. My edges are back, hurray In short, my quality of life has increased.
Yes mummy is very correct, l think l am clicking the like botton for the first time. I love all your videos but l usually watch it, enjoy it and move on. But asking for a 'like' seems like a reminder to me. So keep at it.
I'm about to loc my hair too and if anyone asks why, I'll simply refer them to this video. This video perfectly describes my current state. Having healthy loose hair can be really demanding. Thanks for being an added motivation to get those locs!

Coincidentally, I have also had (loose) natural hair for about 8 years and, ngl, it has taken dedication to leave it that way considering the fact that I do not even wear weaves (and come rain or shine, the hair had to HAIR). I know for a fact that my hair is going to be loc'd (no creamy crack here) by (or, at) my 30th year, and already have tooon of resources to make the transition smooth. Tbh the idea of hair making is stressful, I legit have been twisting my hair for 4 months now cause it's just so comfortable I'm so not in the mood for wigs, I've always preferred braids to wigs. So this is a helpful video and a thing to consider

My first time commenting on your channel. Ezinne I am speechless, I have always wanted to lock my hair from teenage years after seeing the likes of Dakore Egbuson in movies. However, I made the bold step to cut off my long relaxer hair after the COVID lockdown. Been on a natural hair thingy since then, all of a sudden I began to become soooooo obsessed with locking my hair, I noticed I didn't have the courage to do it even though I loved it, so I went to God in prayer overnight tonight, asking him if I should lock my hair or relax it. Almost 10 years loc'd here. A lil trick: dilute your shampoo and conditioner ( when you are loc'd for longer). Yes dry brushing for lint is something for longer loc'd ppl LOL
